Indeed. Many have known that “they don’t care”. Love of country. Love of unborn. Love of God and fellow humans. Love of good. Hatred of evil. Love of future generations. All gone.
Who did it? The greed is good bunch of the eighties? The make love not war bunch who disdained even healthy self defense? The if it feels good do it? The “you have your truth, I have my truth” cabal.
I think all of them. I am sure wise Freepers can identify more causes.

No. Cronkite was evil. That level of indifference to the truth is evil in itself. But there is more. Chronkite was a committed leftist who wanted the United States to lose in Vietnam, and did everything he could to make that happen.Contary to the article, Walter Cronkite was evil and Obama is evil. The article gets it wrong with Trump, his toothless Muslim proposal (perceived as tough), and the foam-at-the-mouth reaction of the media. When it comes to Muslims, the media's reaction to Trump (and to Donald Trump's earlier target, Pamela Geller) is psychological. Those in the media screaming at Trump know Islam is bad. That is why the drive by media is going so crazy. The drive by media has concocted a whole bunch of psychological defenses, rationalizations, and sheer denial against the fact that the drive by media itself knows that Islam is evil and they -- the drive by media -- are terrified of it. Since Donald Trump inadvertently struck these psychological defenses on the part of the media, the media is going to go hysterical at its psychological defenses being somewhat penetrated.
In other words, the media knows the truth about Muslims, that they are savages, it cannot stand that their denial is being pierced, and so they go crazy (this time on Donald Trump). We here so much about homophobia and islamophobia. The media is suffering from truthphobia. And that may be more frightening than the Muslims.

Of course, Barry would never do anything that does not benefit himself.
He might even resign in the morning so President Biden can pardon him too.

Likewise there are those who claim that Obama and similar are evil in their view of Muslims and terrorism and of course they wish to draw a distinction between left and right sides of the aisle. Wrong. They're all indifferent. If Zero was indifferent you'd expect him to take a side against the interests of Islamists at least once, somewhere in the world, over the course of 7 years. When has he done that?

"The jihadist must move amongst the moderate Muslims as a fish swims in the sea." And by tolerating their presence among them, the "moderates" totally concede that there is no such thing as a moderate muslim.
(Same applies to all those legal Mexican/Americans who have cousins living in their garage or working in their shops)

If that happens -- if you quit the left/right, republican/democrat, liberal/conservative game and instead demand the indictment of all of them for their treasonous and outrageously unlawful behavior along with their removal from office and are willing to back that up with action up to and including a general strike until they are all gone and in chains then they are all screwed. Thanks for catching up, Karl Denninger.
This would be an appropriate time for humblegunner to catcall.

Two Amendments might restore the Republic. Limiting Congressional and>/i> Presidential terms to ONE term is one. That would drastically reduce the financial value of the Congressmen to the corporates and limit the damage the President can do. Return the selection of Senators to the State Legislatures thus giving them back State Sovereignty and the representation of State interests in the Congress as the Founders determined was necessary.

Exactly right. Cronkite, Jennings and the rest of the commie crew were evil Goebellsian bastards along with Johnson and McNamara.

all though there are many reasons I like Trump for president, one of the primary reasons is that the criminal establishment is scared to death of him as exampled in this article. It will be very interesting to see how the people will respond when the RNC brokers him out of the party’s nominee. That may be the proverbial straw for the people who belong to the republican party but I’m sure the establishment will be indifferent to any attempted citizen backlash for the evil they do with respect to Mr. Trump.
