Sarkozy didn’t deliver when he was in power last time, why would anyone believe he would do it if he were in power again?

Socialism is hard to overcome. Maybe one more Paris attack.

He has two reasons that -should- motivate him. First is that he is only in the game because the socialists backed him. He hangs by a thread and a bit of chicanery. Second is because of the Paris shootings. Too many French have submitted to the idiocies of EU transnational dogma, but some are reassessing that and some are already there. I would add three for the coming terrorist attacks, because Moslems are incontinent at the prospect of killing someone. They will not be able to pretend they are peaceable for very long, but the new incidents will come.
Sarkozy begins as a weak hand in a compromised position, having to bend to PC and control his Moslems, AND fend off FN ascendancy. He had better perform. He may not, and that is fine. I hope every one of the present EU satraps ends up in prison or worse before this is over.
I want people like these in charge of the nation states of the Northern Hemisphere.

The french go soft and will be eaten by the muzzies. I thought Americnas had a short memeory after 911 Geez, give the Frenchies a break.
It's been a WHOLE MONTH since the massacre in Paris, and the white surrender flags haven't been taken out to play in such a long time...

Isn’t Sarkozy on record claiming Europe must open/do away with her borders for ‘migrants’?

The French would rather be massacred by Muslims than have a rightwing government.
Well, then, you’re on your own, Froggies.

They collapsed? Looks like the socialist capitulated before the first vote was cast. That doesn’t sound like collapse.

It was more like a tactical retreat.
