"I suspect that the Islamists who made the electronic run on the bank in Sept of 2008 (an act of financial terrorism..."

To add further clarity, that was Sept 11, 2008. (9-11 seven year anniversary)

Muzzie terrorists always embrace symbolic dates.

Roberts should be removed . I am convinced he is badly compromised.

SCOTUS position is a lifetime appointment. While I agree with you, it ain't going to happen since there is no jurisdictional reason to get rid of him..........

If Trump read FR then he would really be able to slam the Supremes.

Remember in November! Support Trump, or whatever conservative patriots elect, by also electing a new, state-sovereignty respecting Congress that will work within its constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers to support the president.

An added bonus of a state sovereignty-respecting Congress is that it could fire activist justices.

Remember Cruz had been a Supreme Court clerk so is well known personally to all the Justices then serving, including Thomas. I wouldn’t expect any Justice to make a personal endorsement and I can’t recall any of their spouses ever endorsing before.

Also, my kingdom for the nice warm glow of a 75 watt incandescent light bulb.

Other countries like China are laughing at us. Our regulators drove the last incandescent manufacturer out of business (believe it was in New Jersey). But they still make them in China, not for our market. I'll buy LED lights but not CFL lights. But neither type provides the warm glow of incandescents. The only solution is multiple lamp strips or chandeliers, populated with multiple lower wattage incandescents which are still available. I inserted multiple light fixtures in the ceiling to obtain the lighting I wanted. Plus I stockpiled incandescent bulbs, but my supply will disappear with time. These stupid regulations hamper free market practices and hurt us not only economically but get us pissed off at government.

Robert’s order was not only wrong on the law (and wrong policy of course) but it read like a children’s fairy tale ... so OBVIOUSLY twisting, turning reality upside-down to reach its (patently intended) result/conclusion

I was convinced then, and remain convinced now, that Roberts must be very SERIOUSLY ‘compromised’ — that he is either being threatened in a major way... or could the IslamoNazi-in-Chief’s backers have bought him off, or ???

ps: I doubt it’s his allegedly-illegal adoptions — that just wouldn’t seem likely of leading to very much anyway... it looks like something far more serious ... or just that good old-fashioned ton of money thing......... but my GUESS is he’s acting more out of fear than greed...

And he is a good man for it. But that is inside the Beltway kabuki. It isn't getting stuff done. It isn't managing resources to efficiently to effect a public purpose.

I’ll answer some of your questions.

Ethanol is made of field corn, bred specifically to produce ethanol. It is not eatable by humans, well, it won’t kill you, but you would never take a second bite.

The residue, called distillers grain, is very valuable as a feed stuff, and is most efficiently fed to beef animals, although hogs and poultry do well on it too. Beef just have a better digestive system for the grain.

Because it has been ‘predigested’ during the distilling process it is more easily converted to meat than regular corn.

Summary:

Governor Walker had the best ‘solution’ to the ethanol question. Not the one he was endlessly attacked for here on FR, but his real one, the one that came from his lips.

I think it was brilliant.

Essentially he called for a gradual elimination of government subsidies to grow the corn. AND, most importantly, a gradual elimination of federal fuel blending standards.

This gradual change would prevent wholesale farm bankruptcies, which would put our entire food supply at risk.

The end result would be ethanol would stand on it’s own, with the market dictating how much ethanol would be produced, and at what price. NO government money involved.

The end result would be a much smaller ethanol corn crop and a much smaller amount of ethanol produced.

No one knows for sure, but because of the high value of the distillers grain, I think we would still have a fairly large ethanol industry.

“{If he is supposedly faking it, then he fakes it better than the “real” ones.”

An astute observation.

If you have an athelete who can “fake” a javalin toss better than a real athelete, why do you need the “real” one?

Can a President ‘fire’ a standing chief justice and replace him with another justice on the Supreme Court?

If Trump can do this, he’s my man!

Roberts really turned himself into a pretzel to come up with that first Obamacare ruling.

The second is even worse. He ignored the clear language of the statute, even in light of statements from the main architect of the statute that the clear language is what Congress intended. I cut Roberts a little slack on the first one, but the second is unforgivable not only because it allowed Obamacare to survive, but because it sets a horrible precedent. Roberts has clearly been compromised.

Trump’s main issues are immigration, trade, national security and the border. See his book ‘The America We Deserve’ from 2000. He even called out bin laden as an underestimated threat.

Trump’s a yankee, not a canadian pretending to be one...
