When I was young we used to build bombs all the time. It was part of growing up. We would usually bury them, light them and run like heck. We would come back to see how big the crater was. Of course we were teenagers then.

If we did now what we did as kids we would be rounded up like terrorists. It was all good fun back then.

When I was 19 I went into the Marine Corps. Imagine that.

My uncle used to make "home made" firecrackers which were nothing but little bombs. We would blow up 55 gallon drums. Back then you could buy dynomite, which my uncle would use to blow stumps out of the ground in his fields. Worked well.
