I really think he is going to have such high numbers there won’t be a state he needs. I can see him picking someone who can be a big asset as you said, in building up the military or on the economic front. I think also, that under a Trump presidency, the VP will have a new, active role.
Whatever, he values honesty and loyalty very much. I can’t see him going with anyone who doesn’t represent that. I also think he sees far enough ahead that he will pick someone who can continue all of his programs if something happens to him. I just don’t have a clue who that might be.
Maybe a Military man?
Agreed. Loyalty and competence will be a certainty, what ever slot they must fill.
Impressed with yourself much? I know that history and plenty of other VP selection histories as well- it’s not like you’re special on a website filled with political junkies.
Maybe if you’d been paying attention you’d have noticed that Trump has been able to ignore all of the set in stone conventions of politics. He’ll break that one too and pick exactly who he wants.
So, McCain won then, right? You argue against yourself and don’t even realize it.
The pro Islam/ChiCom GOPe probably knew about these results based on their own focus groups.
They would be bankrupt if the Opecker Princes and the ChiComs didn't send tons of money over to buy their votes in Congress and at the Potus level.
Are you too stupid for words? We were talking of ticket selection, right? Were we ever talking about which tickets win or lose? Don’t think so.
Yes, you’re sure right, that’s usually how it works. One ticket wins and one loses. BRAVO!
Next?
I don’t mean to be a snot, but no one wants to say that Cruz brings this, or that to a TRUMP ticket. They just grunt out their own choice and project it onto TRUMP.
I said up thread that a ticket selection always serves a purpose. I said, also, “AT LEAST IT ALWAYS HAS”.
Maybe TRUMP will end up picking someone who does not help him electorally, or with no international chops. Maybe Cruz can serve some use I haven’t considered.
I also said to someone up thread that maybe Cruz would guarantee protection to a Trump term, against impeachment, because like Biden, no one in Congress or the senate would wants Cruz to be his replacement.
So, yes, as you said, Trump may very well “pick exactly who he wants”, but it will still be a pick that serves the interests of TRUMP, and not just a “feel good” pick, or friendly consolation prize. That’s my bet, anyway, based on ticket history.
You missed my point
Sorry.
