Exactly. It ain;t no joke. It’s sink or swim. Long hours and ass-kissing with clients that you internally hate but need their collaboration...and money.
I’m happier now compared to the previous 9-5 work hours when you come in late for 5 minutes and your man-hating psychotic woman boss who couldn;t get laid so all men are the enemy, chews you out on a Monday morning. F that.

Years ago I had an incredible young Chinese employee who was working for me part time while attending our local college. We had on particular client who was extremely liberal and a total pain in the dupa to deal with. After a particularly difficult telephone conversation with this client one morning, Meng responded, “Well, just charge him a bit more and then smile broadly as you are putting his check in the bank”.
