Thanks for your thoughtful post. In my limited knowledge of Hinduism, I am not familiar with any teachings that are in conflict with the US Constitution. Is that your understanding as well? This, of course, cannot be said of Islam.

And there is NO such thing as “moderate” Islam. In the words of Erdogan, of Turkey:

Muslims could not live under India’s Hindu majority and killed many before creating Pakistan.
With that history we’re supposed to believe islam is peace????
And, all Hindus and Sikhs know there's only one way to deal with them...they must be killed until such time as they tire of dying.

Yes, they do. There are certainly intelligent progressives, but the many claiming intellectual superiority are quite ordinary.
Been going on for awhile. If I remember correctly, the Christians have been making inroads in converting the lower castes who don't get an equitable shake from the Hindus. I think its more about shaking the social order than a fight over theology. The Christians give the lower casts a sense of self worth. I imagine the Islamists made the same inroads into the Hindu population.

Good post but I have to disagree with your trump choice. Frankly, I don’t trust him, He’s for Kelo, HIB visas, single payer health care and I don’t believe his 2d amendment assertions. He’d flip in a minute on immigration.
