After the haj the perp went to Pakistan
He's an idiot. Of the three men who formed ISIS, two were based in Baghdad in 2002 [before the US invasion in 2003 and the third was based in Oslo, Norway... and they were already before that time involved in joint terrorist attacks outside Iraq with al Qaeda... namely the 1999 Millennium Plot. Of the two based in Baghdad, one formed a cell there consisting mainly of Egyptians and the other was running one of Saddam Hussein's intelligence agencies while simultaneously and with the full approval of Saddam Hussein courting and training Islamic radicals and instituting elements of Sharia to better appeal to them. Under his influence "secular" Saddam decided to build his mock scud-missile minaretted grand mosque and also to demonstrate his Islamic piety by copying the Qoran in his own blood. In fact the very man who became the first open leader of ISIS was the Jordanian palestinian terrorist leader Colin Powell mentioned in his speech to the UN before the invasion of Iraq... the guy the Democrats pooh-poohed because he wan't formally sworn to bin Laden at the time.
That was the day two young men in white shirts and ties riding bikes stopped by his house to converse with him.
We’re still looking for a clue on his motive. I doubt that memorizing the Koran could be relevant, considering that all democrats reassure us weekly, after every Muslim terror attack, that Islam is a religion of peace. I wonder what the real motive could be. Liberals are still searching for that one elusive clue to the motive.
***He was on duty on the aircraft carrier USS Enterprise, where he served as an information systems technician and made at least one deployment to the Middle East.
Raheel served in the Surface Warfare Officer School Unit and the Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, Illinois.***
What an interesting set of skills to acquire, for a Muslim with a radicalized family.
