I would have thought "denying them welfare benefits" would work, but I think by federal law that can't be done. Once someone sets their toe on the ground here they become a burden to the working taxpayers who foot the bill for all of these unwanted welfare leeches (not to mention the 10% - 20% actual terrorists who are being infiltrated.)

You mean that you would not be worried for your health and safety if five hundred Syrian Muslim “refugees” were dumped next door to you? State constitutions mandate that their governors have the power to enforce health and safety, have the authority to regulate health and safety. These people are bringing in contagious diseases and crime, not to mention the cost to taxpayers.
And, by the way, for the sake of argument, what is wrong with initiative on the part of governors. If they have to make up the whole thing out of whole cloth — they were elected by the voters to carry out the voters’ will, and a large part of that is common sense. A society really does not enshrine laws that require their suicide.

For the morons in DC who say we need to take our fair share of refugees, our fair share was 7,000 dead men and women killed in Iraq and Afghanistan, and 50,000 wounded warriors.
