Remove as speaker is a starting position in negotiations.
The stronger side’s starting position.
It goes downhill from there.

Why is anyone surprised? It’s well known that he’s an open borders RINO.
“Ryan also vowed that there would be no mass deportation of illegal immigrants while he was serving as House Speaker.”
Agree...Trump will have to get him removed. And by they CARRYING OUT THE LAW is an EXECUTIVE FUNCTION, not subject to the whims of Congress.
If Ryan or Congress as a whole doesn’t like deportations, they are more than welcome to try to CHANGE THE LAW, but may find President Trump a bit reluctant to sign the legislation.
Just another degenerate cretin in WDC. The guy is a major loser.
Yes they can. When was the last time that happened though. We should have impeached this president by now.
There is a difference between cowardly and futile. Tell me the benefit of retaking the GOP.
It is filled with left wingers and mercenaries that all have to go.
It is so brand damaged that it’s own members are gun shy about calling themselves Republicans in public.
It has 30 years of horrid baggage that will haunt it forever and cannot be wished away.
So what exactly is the upside here? Name recognition that causes people to cringe when they hear it or see it? A strong history of social and moral principles that evaporated after Reagan left DC?
What?
Tell me the upside here. No joke. No sarcasm. i do not see a single reason to save/retake the gop that does not have a better argument against it. But I am open to listening to one.
Although I am a Cruz guy, part of me wants to see Trump elected and be a dictator because most of America has proven too stupid to be free and govern itself.
He could hardly make more of a mess than ‘we’ did.
Deport Ryan.
“Although I am a Cruz guy, part of me wants to see Trump elected and be a dictator because most of America has proven too stupid to be free and govern itself.”
I see that as the main difference between Trump and Cruz. Cruz will respect and work within the system, and if the courts tell him to stop enforcing the law, he’ll stop.
Unfortunately we no longer have the decade or so it will take to repopulate the courts with judges that are not political actors, but rather RESPECT THE LAW...so I’m all for Trump...we’re simply out of time, and for people that respect our Constitution, sorry, but the DEMOCRATS ended the rule of law. We have to first correct their excesses, before going back to our old system.
That’s how I see it at this point, sadly.
Whats that old curse? May you live long enough to become the thing you hate”? I think a lot of us feel really old lately.
This whole deal blows goats.
Agree with that.
Rimshot Joe must have taken Ryan to the woodshed again.
I hope The Donald, when President, can “trump” Ryan on deporting illegal immigrants. Trump is our only hope when it comes to deporting illegals.
Tar and feather.
Is anyone surprised?
Ryan is Boehner II
Agree!
I wonder if he’ll feel differently if/when we have our Paris event?
I know a lot of Americans will. Public pressure got rid of the last one. I think we could do that with Ryan - no matter what he says his plans are.
President Trump can send Paulie to be Ambassador to Tierra del Fuego and play pinochle with the penguins.
