Sounds like the Politico JUMPED THE GUN on taking down Carson.
Carson is still serving his purpose, which is to try to stop Trump, so I was VERY CONFUSED as to why the Politico seemed to be in such a hurry to finish off Carson...as that would clear the field for Trump.
But it sounds like the DEMOCRATS made a few phone calls, and Carson remains on life support.
...and by the way, getting accepted to West Point isn’t something you get confused about as you get older - it is something you REMEMBER AND CHERISH for a lifetime. If Carson were having trouble remembering his history with West Point, then he’s lost too many brain cells to be allowed anywhere near the White House.
The embellishment of his JUNIOR ROTC days is relatively unimportant. That is important, or should be for anyone who considers themselves a conservative, is the fact that Carson supports amnesty, more gun control, has stated that his goals are the same as Al Sharpton’s, keeps a Farrakhan supporter on his staff, and has looked rather foolish talking about the pyramids.
I guess when you’re black, there are enough people who feel guilty about being white that they’ll give you a pass. How did that work out with 0bama?
Waiting for all the freepers who fell for it to call it in.
And waiting.
And waiting.
The rest of us a smart enough to not make a god out of any political candidate.
Lowlife vile scumbag cannibals at Telemundo went overboard in hitting Carson with this story. You’re welcome.
Jorge Ramos is on TV right now hitting Carson....Carson isnt my guy but we need to all stand for the truth and against the mescin scumbags.
“A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on.”
Wonder how many dropped their subscriptions?
Funny how the Carson Squad here is neglecting the fact that the Carson campaign already came out and admitted that was he wrote in his book wasn’t truthful;
Talking Points Memo: http://talkingpointsmemo.com/livewire/ben-carson-west-point-admission-fabrication
The Politico softening the edges of its story doesn’t change that.
Why do Freepers insist in publishing rubbish from politico ?
I’m betting a number of freepers wish they could edit their comments as well...
LAWSUIT! Put them out of business.
I was ready to drop my support for Carson when I read the article this morning.
Now, I am utterly so mad at Politico I just donated.
I never donate.
However, I will say Carson really really needs to get a new national team. They are utterly inept at getting ahead of these things.
After a nasty batch of questions from the libmedia, BEN GOES ON THE OFFENSIVE. F U, Media:

I have more respect for Ben after this one.
Id like everyone who thinks Carson lied about his “scholarship” offer to West Point to visit the websites for both Annapolis and West Point and look at their tuition costs for their students. (For those of you who are too lazy to get off of Pornhub or Huffington Post, there aren’t any)
Then I want you to consider this: My father was “offered” a full “scholarship” to West Point after he returned home from Italy following WWII. My father turned down this opportunity because he, like Carson, did not want to make the military his career.
He never “applied” to West Point, but he was asked to go there.
There is no record of this “offer” because (as I’ve already stated) he did not apply.
But I honestly defy anyone to call my father - who ended up leaving UVA 2 years in to serve in Korea— a liar.
Ditto, Ben Carson.
And for this they will say I’m sorry or what?
