“...while Jack Conway came up just short...”

Nine point is not “just short,” dem spin-artists.

It’s probably a case of democrats unable to accept the blame for their own loss, so they lay it on Trump.

I expect the single payer initiative to pass here next year.

Folks want to send the lying GOP a message.

Which by the way, fully funded Obamacare for the next two years, so that takes the issue off the table in Colorado.

Oh they get it. Put it this way. Do you care what the ant thinks of your boot?

Same-same.

Just short? He lost by 9 points, 53-44 - that's more than "just short."

10 points is considered landslide.

This is a very good thing for Republican candidates in 2016. And the more they sound like Trump, the better for them—and for him. And for us.

>>>Hey that's great. Trump is getting the credit for Bevin's win. Or did I read that the DEMS are blaming him? LOL

It was a high-level Dem who is blaming her team's loss on Trump mania. She is the executive director for the Dem Governors Association. Poor gal. Wouldn't want her job during this election cycle.

>>>Seems Trump has coattails already and he isn't even the nominee - (yet).

It's just like Trump has already affected government without being President yet, namely the political death of boehner.

“Just short” eh? That’s how we’re describing 9 percentage points?

The truth is voter turnout in dem strongholds was way down, supposedly 20% in some precincts of Jefferson County. They neglected their GOTV efforts and thought they had this in the bag.

Trump supporters should take note: leading in the polls doesn’t equal assured victory.

Just be glad you were part of a winning team. Congrats on the victory!

I think it’s the national-level dems who see this as a Trump-mania thing.

Oh, no. I’m planning to move to Colorado soon ... to Canon City. I guess I’ll just ignore politics.

Is this election indicating that Colorado is becoming more radical?

The polls probably understate Trump’s support.

You can’t trust them.

Good luck with that. I'll be moving out just as soon as I retire or get layed off; which ever happens first.

The collapse of Obamacare and rising private health insurance premiums - along with their crappy and skimpy coverage - create the perfect storm.

The state is going to take over the financing of the health care system.

It wasn’t ripe in Vermont but its going to be ripe in Colorado.

As I said, GOP support for Obamacare takes opposition to single payer health off the table.

The tide has turned in your state. Gotta wonder how Mitch McConnel feels, seeing his former primary adversary ascending to the top of Kentucky. Did Mitch endorse Bevin?

Well, half of california moved here. The other half of newcomers are illegal aliens that expect free stuff. Add to that the fact that you only have to say you plan to move here and you can vote on the spot, no ID required. Thanks to dems in the state houst.

I want to think that it can’t get any worse in Colorado after what’s happened there this past decade. You’ve gotta hit bottom eventually and from there start levelling off.
