Interesting to hear someone like Matalin say this. I also read where W, while saying he "can't stand" Cruz, warned everyone not to underestimate him. Combine all this with articles popping up about Cruz's amazing organization and fundraising, and it's clear that "Something's happening here....."

Couldn't agree more. The way I put it is this: if you "win" the office with a guy who doesn't do what you want or believe what you believe, what the hell have you actually "won?"

I think you're right for several reasons.

Cruz is so quick on his feet the media will have a hard time trying to get him to say something that will hurt him, or get the Rat voters fired up enough to come out.

Also, Cruz will get the 4 million plus voters who stayed home the last time to come out and support him.

Cruz is also clearly an anti DC/establishment candidate and the American People are fed up with the status quo.

Finally, by not attacking other candidates for the Pub nomination he has made it easier and more likely they will support him if, or when, their candidate drops out.
