Former Clinton staffer and current Clinton financial backer George Stephanopoulos has no business anchoring a “news” program, but he does.

I wouldn't mind John Harwood as a moderator as long as he was balanced out by someone like Mark Levin as another moderator.
But of course there never is that balance.

Its CNBC what can you expect? The RNC was insane to even agree to this debate. I am expecting it to be pretty bad.

Meh. I have low expectations of the “moderators”. Remember Candy Crowley? She should have been jailed after her debacle.

Larry Kudlow used to be with CNBC and retired with his head high.
They should have invited him to be a co-moderator.
To: Georgia Girl 2
Of course in the interest of fairness how much worse could it be than the Fox debate? That was what we call in the South a hot mess.

We are missing the big picture.
The RNC/Establishment/Wall Street/K Street/Business Round Table/Republicans/Democrats are for Hillary.
We need to accept reality and act accordingly.
Trump has.

I have an odd feeling something major is going to disrupt the so-called debate. Some kind of moon-battery like MoveOn showing with blood on their hands—or worse. It IS Colorado.

My question is why are the GOP candidates letting the media dictate the terms of the debate? Why can’t the top-polling candidates dictate terms by threatening to bail and instead hold their own campaign-funded debate based candidate-negotiated moderator selection and other rules?
To: subterfuge
Cruz just has to take it nice and easy and he will coast through this. Trump will either knock Carson out here or he will say something that will finally knock him off his pedestal.
Frankly at this juncture, a Cruz/Carson ticket isn’t so bad. Then again, if that happens, Hillary is picking Castro.

The RNC is dictating terms of the debate. Reince Priebus. These candidates want to be on GOP ballots, so they follow GOP rules.
