pro-illegal (like me).
***********************************************************************
I never thought that I’d see those words at F.R. from a yet to be zotted member.
Agreed, but it appears sanity has very little to do with this thread.
If you think holding those you agree with to a basic standard of honesty is "childish" your are a fool not worthy of a response!
But in case you came to the thread before you were sufficiently awake to read and hear Moore in his own words - provided by links - I'll post them again:
1) He wrote in his own blog (link):
"This is a gospel issue. First of all, our Lord Jesus himself was a so-called illegal immigrant."
2) He later states on a youtube video (link)
Caller: "On what basis did he say that the Holy Family...were illegal immigrants?"Unfortunately for Moore, since Jesus was neither an "undocumented immigrant" nor an "immigrant" to the Roman Empire when he traveled from Roman Judea to Roman Egypt, Moore substituted one lie with another.Moore as guest: "I have said earlier that when we welcome the sojourner and the stranger among us, those who are undocumented and in a strange land, we need to remember that our Lord Jesus himself was an immigrant in Egypt."
The sleazy manner in which he attempted this substitution was further evidence of his abject dishonesty. (When asked about the 1st lie he mislead his audience by claiming that he in fact said the 2nd only - as if he never said the 1st.)
SDAs are a cult.
The issue with Cruz that I see is the low information voters who won’t bother to read case law and believe the media blitz (and bloggers even on our side) who will claim he is not eligible because he is not a ‘natural born citizen’. That will be a big hurdle in the general and cause many to drift to other candidates (a lot like Romney’s Mormonism did last time).
Rubio and Jindal have the same issue.
I will not support Carson, I like Walker but he is gone. I could support Fiorina. I see it coming down to Carson and Trump given the field currently.
Given the 3 things - Trump has all of them. I don’t really like Trump as a person, or even trust him (he reminds me too much of one of my uncles), but he is viable - has the money to run against the Dem machine, the connections, and is a shrewd businessman which is what this country needs right now.
