Ted Cruz, you are really the most-principled candidate.

If it was held today, this moment, I am pulling for Ted.

Trump is all hat and no cattle in his speeches and proof that he can lead this country back to greatness.

Ted has been fighting for me since he has been elected to the Senate and will make a great President.

Has he been 100% on everything? No, and I do not expect him to be 100% as President.

I do know he will be for the people and not someone that has cesspool written all over him and The Donald does.

More and more reading in this thread leads me to believe this country is screwed since the stupidity of Americans has surpassed the tipping point.

What did Cruz say that was so bad? That very soon he was going to outline the vast differences between his policies (backed up by actions) and other candidates’ rhetoric, like Trump? OH MY GOD! It’s cannibalization I tells ya! /sarc

What pisses me off the most is many of the Trumpsters are like “Cruz hasn’t done anything, Cruz can’t be trusted, Cruzers are mean-spirited and resort to name calling, etc etc etc”. Are you kidding me? All Donald Trump has is rhetoric and name-calling. He has no cores to back up anything he says he’s for but people here buy it no matter what Trump’s history contradicts. It is the biggest hypocrisy I’ve ever witnessed here.

If Lindsey Lohan Graham suddenly had an epiphany and declared the Gang of 8/14 horrible, that all illegals should be deported, and that we should never reach across the aisle again, what would happen to his poll numbers? They’d still go nowhere because people have his history to look at and would realize he’s probably full of crap.

Yet at the end of the day all there is is Trump’s rhetoric. Contradictory statements on virtually every issue because Trump is trying to cover all the spectrums, liberal and conservative.

Polls show Trump beating Hillary in Electoral College landslides. Again the Trumpsters REFUSE to answer WHY this would be. Is it because the left is voting for a conservative or is it because they think Trump is liberal like them?

About time. Cruz is nobody’s lapdog, and it’s time he stopped acting like one.

Cruz should introduce his wife Heidi as his North American Union czar. Heidi can explain how we should combine Canada, the U.S. and Mexico and create the Amero to replace the dollar, as she and her Council of Foreign Relations colleagues advocated in this landmark paper she co-authored.

He does not need to focus on Trump.

He needs to focus on differences between him and Carson.

Carson is his real competition.

I dont know why Cruz hasnt caught on...Ive read several explanations but who knows. The guy is brilliant but turns off a lot of potential allies/supporters. My hunch is he will stay below the other candidates.

I love Ted Cruz but I think Trump is more electable. They can have a civilized debate on the issues. In the White House I hope.

In all honesty, I would wager that the Hufftards, DUmmies, and KOSkiddies are popping metric TONS of popcorn and delighting over our "FReeper Civil War" between Cruz and Trump supporters...

I don't think the libs have much to worry about from those of us here at FR come election time as we seem more divided than any liberal organization I have ever seen...
