I’ll bet they don’t factor in unreported crimes just like the unemployment figures don’t factor in those who have stopped looking for work.

FBI gets their stats from Cities - cities run by Democrats who want Big Businesses to relocate to their hellholes.

If ‘crime numbers’ are too high city mayors won’t be able to compete for relocating businesses. That matters. Pressure is put on police departments to ‘tone down’ the numbers.

And yes, it’s not the FBI’s fault - because in DC no one is ever at fault for anything. And if they are they offer an excuse other corrupt liars in DC accept. If that doesn’t work they ‘apologize’ with the correct ‘tone’...

And if all goes wrong with the lies they ‘accept full responsibility’ which is a code phrase for ‘eff off you people in flyover’ or we’ll stick the IRS on you threaten you in other ways”...

Yeah, we’re charmed out here in flyover and we’re going to elect Trump who will start the process of cleaning out the liars... the big ones and the little ones.

The country’s broke, the border’s are NOT protected, the FBI started the War on Cops with the 75 agents to Ferguson crap, we lose wars we should win, AND citizens are threatened if they don’t ‘go along’...

This is not a nice place anymore - and the lies about crime are just part of it.

“If a crime is committed and it’s not reported as a crime, did it really happen? I’ve read a number of stories about crimes either being ignored or downgraded under orders from on high.”

Well, I can tell you that here in California any number of crimes that were misdemeanors have been downgraded by the legislature to “infractions.” We’ve had some difficulty with “homeless” sleeping on the outdoor hallways of a commercial office building we own. In an effort to catch the perps, I’ve actually staked out my own property and have called the cops when someone shows up. But all they do is issue the violator a citation and tell them that they have to leave. I am told that they never show up for court, the courts won’t jail them, and they don’t have any money to pay fines. So they continue to come. It’s a travesty!

More like some crimes aren’t counted and we all know a lot are unreported.

I really don’t trust statistics.

They've been shown to be misleading 73.7% of the time:)

Last month, the fed grand jury in my district indicted 11 (average is well over 50). AUSAs are saying the U.S. attorney is refusing “demographically sensitive” drug cases and has stated that the biggest threat in this district is “discrimination in housing”.

No shit the FBI stats are down. Law enforcement isn’t allowed to prosecute Mexican illegals running drugs or minorities slinging them at street level.

This makes it so much easier for BO to claim that crime went down under his “rule”.

Hide and watch.

” Law enforcement isn’t allowed to prosecute Mexican illegals running drugs or minorities slinging them at street level.”

I figured as much, and that is doubtless, not the full extent either.

Thanks.
