Our country would be a whole lot safer if we didn’t have this recent modern history of PC multi-culturalisms groupthink. Be nice, diverse, enlightened and for equality by importing muslims galore. Brilliant idea from the DC pukes and policy wonks ay?
Even after 9-11 GWB was touting Islam as a religion of peace. Yeh, right. So W should not get blamed for 9-11 but yet he didn’t put in effective measures enough to keep us safer due to PC crapola niceties. So here we are with our own muzzie import issues.

Conservatives can be as dishonest as liberals with regard to cherry-picking quotes from an interview, removing the context, and crafting a false headline.
Trump is courageous and gutsy for taking this issue on.
What Trump is saying here that if his policies were in place, regarding illegal immigration, those 9/11 terrorists wouldn't have been in America in the first place, taking flight lessons and planning the 9/11 hijackings.

Dallas Texas 2006, during war time under Republican George Bush.
500,000 illegal aliens march on Dallas Texas pushing foreign flags in our faces and making threats demands. This while Bush celebrated Cinco De Mayo up in the White House...During war time.

He’s right. Do you recall that the ONLY al-Qaeda terrorist NOT to get in was refused entry by INS? I think it’s perfectly sensible to say if we had much better immigration laws, none of the 9/11 attacks could have been pulled off. They failed to secure one plane because ONE GUY was turned back. Imagine if 10 of them had been turned back or captured?

"As much as I recognize that Donald Trump comes from the private sector, it is difficult to expect that a new President taking office on 1/20/2091 could get the entire federal government working to his satisfaction in less than 8 months, or reverse the years of neglect that led to the attack."
I think that's basically correct. I think all the hijackers were already here and the planning for the attack was well under way before Bush even became president. No president has the time or ability to micromanage the issuing of visas and vetting of individuals who apply for admission to the US.
Trump is speaking with 20/20 hindsight. I very much doubt that his first priority as president would have been to review the status of every LEGAL immigrant who was in the country at the time. The potential threat of radical Islam in the US was not even discussed in the run-up to the 2000 election.

One was turned back. Just that one guy meant that Flight 93 failed to secure the plane, causing it to be taken over in a passenger revolt.

BTW, you're absolutely wrong: http://www.factcheck.org/2013/05/911-hijackers-and-student-visas/
Only one was here on a student visa.

Fifteen years later and there still is no comprehensive program to track those here on expired student or tourist visas
You just made Trump's point, all of that would change when he is elected.

"Fifteen years later and there still is no comprehensive program to track those here on expired student or tourist visas. I find it implausible that if he were President in 2000 instead of Bush 43, Trump would have put into place a plan to find and deport every single person here on an expired Visa, let alone have this plan designed and implemented in eight months."You might have an argument if Bush had EVER found and deported any here on expired visas but he DID NOT.

Don’t feel sorry for me. I’m not blind to the failures of the Bushies and the GOPe. I feel sorry for you for failing to see what is in plain sight.
I have no doubt whatsoever that history will regard GWB and Obama as the two worst Presidents in American history. No doubt whatsoever.

No, as much as I hate FDR, that's not the case. See my chapter in "48 Liberal Lies About American History." As commander Phil Jacobsen has shown, and as "Pearl Harbor: Final Verdict" has shown, Kimmel and Short had all the info they needed. They had a "war" message on 12/1 that they ignored. In fact---and almost no one knows this who didn't read Clausen's "Pearl Harbor: Final Verdict" book---Short REVERSED the alert codes in the summer of 1941 . . . and DIDN'T tell the War Department. The WD asked him on Dec. 5 or so if PH was on "Alert 1" (I think 1 was previously the highest) and he said "yes," meaning it was on the LOWEST. It was shameful and he should have been immediately relieved of duty just for that.
Moreover, he and Kimmel had NO long range recon aircraft out as dictated by the war memo; the Army and Navy switched off on the message transmission every 24 hours and let a key warning slip through, not delivered to Washington til 2:00 am Washington time---and even then, the attache did NOT wake up Marshall. In short, the only "inadequate sharing of intelligence" was from PH back to Washington, not the other way around. And I repeat, I despise FDR.

Oh, that was back when he was building in Chicago. The locals protested the giant Trump logo, but Rahm changed his tune and sided with Trump.

When your done with these questions I have more if ya dont mind.
I don’t mind a bit. I need the amusement of Trump’s (and your Kool Aid following of him) posing as the savior of the country by blaming Bush for 9/11 and following up with every mistake he ever made. Trump has no flaws apparently. Check your premises.
