Well he does seem to understand the scientific method or protocols you would use to try and determine the truth of something....
There noting wrong with having a theory of global warming.. that man made release of extra CO2 could cause it...but you have a lot of variables to test and eliminate before you can even begin to start saying you proved it...let alone doing it based on computer models that don't seem to be tracking with observation .
To content you prove your theory true, when really because you are violating proper scientific protocol have not..is a scientific travesty ....
Thing like this... let say for example the earth is in fact warming...that in itself is not proof of man made global waring by CO2....why?...
because you already have document scientific history that that earth goes through natural warming and cooling cycles...you have to eliminate all the known natural variables that impacts Earth's climate before you can even begin to distinguish any impact the new variable ..man released CO2......
to say the earth warming in its self is PROOF of man made CO2.. release is the cause...is like saying the earth geing dark an night is proof that man made CO2 being the cause....

To quote H.L. Mencken, “The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary.”
Democrats created the hobgoblin of Global Warming by funding Scientists with government grants to create “Settled” but factitious science proving human use of fossil fuels is causing the planet’s climate to change, and, and as long as the government continues to fund these “Climate” Scientists with government (taxpayer) grants, these “Scientists” will continue to tell Democrats what they want to hear.
Of course, a side benefit of this fossil fuel/climate change hysteria is that Democrats can then provide government (taxpayer) grants to campaign contributors in the “Green” energy business.
One of the real zingers in the climate change scam is that the scientists can’t really be proven wrong in their lifetimes. They make predictions based on ginned up computer models that span 200 years or so in the future. Everyone who pays taxes for this scheme will be long dead and gone by then along with all the phony researchers and scientists. It’s like they’re saying pay up now just in case we’re right. Much of the grant money ends up back in democrats campaign coffers through donations of the science communities donations. A clear and obvious conflict of interest.

Lubos Motl wrote a summary of a 23 minutes interview (see link) with Freeman Dyson (who is 91 now)
Freeman Dyson knows the Japanese chap who was the first man who created a climate model with CO2. It had some positive climate sensitivity – still a lower one than what is popular today, despite the years of decreasing estimates.
But Dyson thinks that we can’t believe those predictions even if the climate models may be a good tool to explain the past observations.
We may simply happen to incorporate a sufficient number of mechanisms and terms that may yield a good model of the past data; but this may still be “on the edge” and the future evolution may very well reveal and depend upon some aspects that were neglected in the past but will be important in the future.
