What is a “Rump State?”
California comes to mind.
It’s a phrase used for a nation state that’s been shrunk. It happens when the political authority of a state no longer extends to all of the territory formally controlled by a government.
So it looks like King Opie’s philosophy of bringing about worldwide peace by turning the evil USA into a reclusive 97 pound weakling isn’t working out so well.
Some of the imbecile commentators have taken to calling the House conservatives the “rump party” or the “Rump Republicans”.
Guess that makes the Boehner/Ryan/Coe/P.King crowd the d!ckheads. Though since none of them shape up as men maybe they are something else.
I’m not sure what Obama is thinking, but any good general can study this war in Syria and LEARN about the weaknesses of the Russian and Iranian military.
Obama is at best a spectator. This war is going to be one we can only hope that no one wins.
I’d say they’re never going to be able to put enough troops on the ground to make a difference. Russia and Iran may want to do that, but I don’t believe they’ve the will to lose the number of lives necessary. Still, if Putin and his mad mullah allies want to have young Russians and young Iranians march off and die to save Putin’s puppet Assad, I guess it’s worth a try. It will prove they’re world leaders. Maybe some day, too, they’ll get around to fighting ISIS.
I don’t mind Iran losing a couple armies, but the sooner Assad regains control, the faster the globalists lose their pretext for Syrian “refugees”.
Leading from behind?
Urban warfare is tough, almost hand-to-hand combat that gives the defender an enormous advantage.
And when you'e using Shiite militia, you might as well be sending civilians.
Shooting at the pedocannibals in Syria won’t solve anything. Go after the financiers of ISIS and the rebels, and the supply lines. Somebody is buy the Toyota trucks.
Wait, that’s us.
Russia is going to push ISIS all the way back to Iraq. They need to secure Syria as their firewall.
Iran is a country chock full of young, military aged men. Yet, this general, controlling a battle, was 67? How many of these geezers have been shot by ambitious young men who realize they will never get their moment in the sun while these old guys live? Anybody know the ages of the other generals who have died?
A still functioning remnant.
Now the “insurgents” are fighting each other Before the Aleppo battle...

It's what is left of your country after you get your ass handed to you.
More good news.
How long before, someone freeps that we should be fighting the Russians to protect these Iranian serial killing thugs.
