If only Republicans can get back to basics which is being the party of free markets and small government, it might start winning elections again.

Apparently this isn't going to happen, so we might as well elect Donald Trump, along with a proper right-wing Conservative as president and vice-president.

Trump is showing us how ‘in bed together’ the media, the government, super pacs, and the ‘money bags’ like Soros, Murdock and others are twisting and infiltrating the news to get the voters to vote their way...

He is doing this the same way with the candidates, he's has been proving this with how they attack him, because the people with money behind the candidates have been told to attack him....

Normally, when this happens, the person will not talk or walk away, this time it isn't happening that way, Trump is fighting back, and all these people that want you to vote ‘their’ way don't know what to do...

They put up Perry to take Trump out, didn't work; they put up the faux debate team to take him out, didn't work; they put up Bush to take him out, didn't work; you can go down the line and see what they are doing...

Faux started talking crap again and Trump called it on them, now we find out that faux wants a meeting, of course they want a meeting, their ratings are going in the toilet...

If Trump wanted to, he could buy a network T.V. program, he doesn't want to, yet...

They have yelled and screamed that his tone was this and that, they put a plant in one of his speaking engagements and tried to get him out that way, that didn't work; Ben Carson came out and announced his opinions and they tried to bring Trump into it, that didn't work...

Be on guard, you haven't seen anything yet, this is politics and it's a dirty, nasty game but something that Trump works in all day and has done...he wouldn't be going after this if he didn't want it, and he doesn't need to have ‘handlers’ and ‘money bags’ telling him what to do, he tells them what they are going to be doing...

He's not the only one standing up for us. Cruz is in the Senate doing the same thing, apparently it is working, Boehner is going to retire....he better after this last mess of not holding onto what we voted him in office to do...They say you can't do this or that without Ohio's vote, well if that is what they are voting to represent us to our government, I wouldn't put my horse on that cart...

And then you got McConnell who is the most yellowed bellied idiot I have ever seen...and Kentucky should be very proud to put in another idiot like him....shows you what money can buy you...

Ben Carson came out and said he didn't think a Muslim could be POTUS because of their beliefs and Our Constitution, which is correct...this is still America, and we still do have freedom of speech, and that's his opinions on the subject...I have opinions just as all the rest of the people, but to be hammered the way these people are being hammered is stupid, because ‘oh my gawd, you can't say that’ THAT folks is what is wrong with America today: If you don't have a spine to stand up and say what you think, then get the heck out of the way, because there are a lot of us that can and will say it...

Trump is a blowhard bully who will never be president.

Never pick a fight with someone who buys ink by the barrel.... Mark Twain.

Stopped watching Faux News after the first debate.

Yesterday I watched the Pope’s address to Congress via MSNBC. The MSNBC team consisted of Brian Williams, Chris Mathews and Maddow. They were unintentionally hilarious in their banal comments. Dumb as a box of rocks.

Donald Trump is full of it. Realistically he cannot be elected President. Way too many people are turned off by his pomposity.

I have said before that if he would only behave in a decent and respectable manner to others who may disagree with him, he would be able to build a juggernaut which would be unstoppable. He has the intelligence and the leadership that is currently lacking in DC. But his rudeness and boorish behavior is totally offsetting.

I have spoken with several relatives about Trump, and without any input from me, they have said they will never vote for Trump and may sit out the election if he is the GOP choice.

It is time for Trump and his supporters to realize what the real threat to our nation is. And it could be corrected with a strong GOP nominee like Trump - but requires civility. Is Donald Trump so enamored of his own persona that he thinks he is a godlike figure and can say and do anything with impunity?
