Never met a drunk yet who would ever admit he was drunk...........LOL!
You're funny.............
I’m a nice drunk, not a mean or crying one, so you can like the isalmic KLM agent at Schiphol, and shove your predijuices up your you know what.
Yeah, and they go on strike for a couple hours every week.
Nope.
LOL, my main goal when traveling is to avoid ending up like that.
I suspect he smelled the alcohol, and that precipitated the whole event.
ALL drunks think they’re “nice”. Once we realize that the world doesn’t revolve around “I” “I” “I” and “me” “me” “me”; we quit talking ugly about other people’s “you know whats”, talk courteously, shut our pieholes most of the time and realize that alcohol is not always our friend.
We landed in Amsterdam once years ago; but we weren’t drinking and no one bothered us. - Saw a lot of hippie looking people there even before looking hippie was cool.
I guess I’ve insulted you; but that’s just Twinkie.
“I feel that I was targeted and discriminated against by an islamic KLM employee”
Sorry, but do you SERIOUSLY BELIEVE that there are any more native-Dutch working in front-line positions at KLM?
Advice from a frequent traveler, ignore your temper and smother with kindness, a smile and even compliment the biggest jerk/agent in the world. TMI: Once in AMS (Schiphol) on time for my hour flight to Brussels on what was Sabena (Such A Bad Experience Never Again airlines) after waiting 10 minutes in one of two long lines, as I approached the agent she said cheerily "be right back," returned 10+ minutes later, looked at my ticket and said nastily "You are too late to be boarded, next". My guess is she had a fight with her husband during the break, or other bad news - anyway, I took a train. Taking the escalator down a few floors to the AMS train depot, boarded the first to Brussels sans ticket. I told the conductor my story and he asked if I had 5 EU which I'm sure never made it to the railway. We've all had it happen.
Major faux pas!
It's like going to Sbarro's for a slice of pizza when you are in Manhattan. Don't be that guy!
That doesn’t sound fair, you’re right. I’m still pinning it on them though.
I wonder if the Emerald Ash borer (killer of ash trees) was discovered by a Munchkin scientist.
My grandmother was a Dutch.
Martini mug? You're probably familiar with that..........LOL! Hic!
There was a retrograde, hateful muslim involved, so I must instinctively side with the person with a large Texas city in his name.
How were you targeted?
I didn’t have any trouble until I met the KLM islamic gate agent, who refused me boarding. As a side story, have no idea if it was a disgruntled barmaid at Murphy’s Pub, who was on break, and would not help her colleague while swamped, and I shamed her to help. She may have made a call to KLM, and thus my treatment.
God, how I wished that I had never ventured into Murphy’s Pub Schiphol. I was at Schiphol when they had gate security and not central security, and there was a major shortage of seats to wait out my flight.
Thank you for your comments, much appreciated, but I was traumatised at Schiphol, and yes I sound like liberal “victim”, but that is what happened.
I feel like Ben Carson defending myself.
It’s kinda ironic, but my only meal in Europe, was at Burger King, Schiphol.
Whadda ya eat?
