Not with Ambien (zolpidem)on board. A low tolerance sleeping pill. Helps a lot of people short term but I've seen people confused, 'dinged' (their word), 'hung over', (their words) and have witnessed acute organic brain syndrome with it, i.e. acute confusional state the next day. All fairly rare, but does happen. I quit prescribing it. I would venture to guess anyone who takes it probably has very subtle performance differences in psych testing and motor functioning/testing the next morning. 3 am call? No way.
Makes me wonder what Obama takes at night. .
As any neurology/psychiatry resident knows, diplopia, (double vision) is also a frequent hallmark symptom of Multiple Sclerosis.
Sounds like the bin Laden kidney failure rumors.
