They’re also going to get quite a lot of talk.

I think the one that got me the most was MIT expressing an interest in a kid who can bust the case off a radio shack alarm clock and screw the remains onto a briefcase. Not that taking stuff apart isn’t a 13 year-old past time, but cmon... I think we all know his dad was behind this latest episode of southpark

Liberals lie because it is among the Ten Commandments which they habitually scorn (#9, "You shall not bear false witness").

Another one is #6, "You shall not murder". That one gets to the heart of the Planned Butcherhood wickedness and scorning of God's Law.

Counter trolling is a fine concept, a noble idea, but it's flawed and likely in vain simply because progressives want to believe what we see as lies more than they want to know the truth.
Once a lie has been accepted it becomes "truth" to those who find comfort in it's message; clock kid will find his place in the pantheon right along with Trevon Martin, "religion of peace", and democrat "transperincy".

It’ll really get interesting if that new Facebook “dislike” button deletes posts after 10 dislikes, as some are saying it will.

The political wars on FB will go thermonuclear. Expect to see Conservative attempts to spread the truth get attacked and removed in a highly organized manner.

We need to be ready for this. And to respond in kind.

But, general truth should by all means be propounded with no regard to how popular that is. Trump is pretty good at this, for one.

Like his lie about Walker's budget deficit? He has been corrected on the numbers repeatedly and simply ignores it.

Like Bret Bair remarked one day recently, "don't they(in this case HRC) know that we have video clips of them saying the exact opposite?"

We have a video clip of Obama clearly saying, "John McCain has never brought up my Muslim faith". If he meant to say he was Christian, why in the world would McCain make fun of his Christian faith?

I know they were talking on Fox News about the dislike button on FB, but so far I haven’t seen one yet

Oops!
sorry about the double ost...besides, I left Michelle's "glamor" and fashion sense out of the list of bogus leftist "truth".

If you were serious about truth yourself I would think you would provide a reference to what you are talking about.

And even yet I do not say perfect. Relative degrees of goodness are all we can see on earth short of God.

I wonder what would happen to me if I brought a homemade clock on a White House tour?

“So where did Trump pull out that $2.2 billion deficit statistic from? [smear snipped] It’s a projection from Walker’s own Wisconsin Department of Administration for the 2015 to 2017 budget period.”

Sounds reasonable enough... Trump wasn’t trying to flatter here. Even if this was a matter of an initial wish list budget, why did it have to start out that ridiculous? By caviling over quibbles, the point is missed.

And... I found a plethora of left wing sites talking about this, not a right wing sight that I could identify. Funny, given that a conservative’s ox got gored here.

The right wingers knew this was a misunderstanding at worst. The lefties bent themselves out of shape calling it a lie.

No, it's not. That was a wish list from a batch of bureaucracies infested with leftists. It was not the budget Walker signed into law after a string of line-item vetoes. Trump knew it.

“Trump knew it”

Not necessarily so. Trump notoriously doesn’t dig and that would be a most misleading factoid to get. Trump would do well to apologize for the misunderstanding, though.

One could still ask why he had to use the line item veto — why he didn’t negotiate a sane budget to just get his John Hancock upon (and that might be Trump patting himself on the back for how he cuts deals).

Funny, given that a conservative’s ox got gored here.

The conservative who was gored was Walker.

The right wingers knew this was a misunderstanding at worst.

Walker's people explained immediately what was wrong with what Trump was saying. Trump stuck with the charge at the second debate. Walker protested when he did it and was not allowed to elaborate.

Trump is a media creation. They protesteth too much, with crocodile tears while Trump portrays us as a bunch of buffoons.

What makes you think a guy who has employed thousands of maids, dishwashers, groundskeepers, and construction laborers is going to deport the scads of illegals among them and hire aging American welfare cases instead? The moment he starts, MALDeF sues, the courts step in, and all he has to do is raise his hands, immediately absolved of any campaign promises. You think a guy who's welched on his creditors repeatedly can't do that? It's astonishing how credulous his supporters have been to the point of willful blindness.

Homeland Security still tells us, “If you see something, say something,”

That way they know who is paying attention so they can be labeled enemies of the State later (if not right away).
