Now, give that the question is so broad as to include that scenario, should be perhaps instead be distressed that so few respondents said “yes”?

The military couldn’t do it. The present general staff would not live through night 1, as actual American Soldiers would put them down like the vermin they would be should they approve such an operation. The President would resign on day 2.
