“When Iran goes nuclear next year it will finish off the Democratic Party.”
Unfotunately several of our cities will be finished off as well.
In a vote of 269-162, [and one "present"] the House of Representatives rejected the approval of the White House's nuclear agreement with Iran. Every Republican except one voted against it, while they managed to get 25 Democrats on board as well.
The Supreme Court in all their wisdom decreed that term limits could not be used in national elections.
The 60 or so Democrats that voted against it were probably from swing districts. Dems always have to keep those bitter clinger Democrat voters who still believe JFK is still in the White House. This is why Hillary is now calling herself a moderate. A few years ago she bragged about being a progressive but now that she is running for President she is a moderate The big city liberals run the Democrat party but they need places like Louisiana (remember the Mary Landrieu Louisiana Purchase?), West Virginia and Arkansas as well as upstate New York, among other conservative areas to give them the votes that they need to get their agenda through. They are masters of political chess. I just wish that the Blue Dog Democrats and other more moderate Democrats would realize that they are being played.
Even if that means vaporizing their base, NYC, Chicago, LA, Seattle, Baltimore, Miami, DC etc etc.
They are “being played” by having their arms twisted.
Don't believe it.
There were those who claimed in the weeks after 9/11 that the Hate America/Hate The Military Democratic Left was finished.
With the ceaseless support of the media they have only flourished since then and have pulled more than half the voting public even closer to their side.
When Iran goes nuclear the Republicans and the 'Joos' will be blamed.
