How has your country been brought to such an alarming state of affairs? Effectively a lawless nation now.
Barack Hussein Obama, lawless activist judges, and passive progressive congress.
I know what a straw man is. Do you? Since you claim there are multiple in my posts, perhaps you will kindly point out one.
You are very confused.
No rage here.
No personal offense toward me.
Just letting people know, if you claim to be a Christian, be aware that Arab Christians pray to and worship God, the Father of Jesus. And they call Him “Allah” in their language... just as the Arabic speaking Jews heard His name called by the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost when the church began.
They did not hear Him called “God” (i.e. in English) then, because there were no English speaking Israelites present then, but there were, according to the Bible, Arabic ones.
What word for God do you suppose the Arabic audience heard on the day of Pentecost? If it is not “Allah” then you need to tell me (if you can) what other word for God there was then or there is today for God in Arabic. There is no other. Do Arabs today come to God by some other way than these? Are they not permitted to become Christians unless they first become Hebrew speakers or English speakers?
If God chose to be called “Allah” in the ears of the Arabic audience present at Pentecost, then what right do modern English-speaking Christians have to denigrate that title and hurl the most egregious insults toward it?
When Christians denigrate a legitimate title of God, a title that He chose Himself, they do so at their own peril.
I hear people disrespect God’s (English) title and Jesus’s name frequently. I do not generally take it upon myself to rebuke them. But if they profess to be a Christian I probably will.
This is not something to trifle with. But I can only do so much to warn people. If you or they will not hear, you or they will only have yourselves to blame for not listening.
Genesis 11:7-8
“Come, let Us go down and there confuse their language, that they may not understand one anothers speech.” So the Lord scattered them abroad from there over the face of all the earth, and they ceased building the city.
Exodus 20:7
You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.
Matthew 24:14
And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.
Acts 2:5-11
And there were dwelling in Jerusalem Jews, devout men, from every nation under heaven. And when this sound occurred, the multitude came together, and were confused, because everyone heard them speak in his own language. Then they were all amazed and marveled, saying to one another, “Look, are not all these who speak Galileans? And how is it that we hear, each in our own language in which we were born? Parthians and Medes and Elamites, those dwelling in Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia, Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya adjoining Cyrene, visitors from Rome, both Jews and proselytes, Cretans and Arabswe hear them speaking in our own tongues the wonderful works of God.”
Acts 17:26-27
And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their pre-appointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings, so that they should seek the Lord...
Revelation 5:9
And they sang a new song, saying:
You are worthy to take the scroll,
And to open its seals;
For You were slain,
And have redeemed us to God by Your blood
Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation”

Do you know what truly “mocks God “? What to place 14 years ago on 9.11.01 or the attacks against Christians in the Middle East today, the bad treaty with Iran. Those are what truly mocks God.
Correction,took place.
Do yourself the kindness and not make a big deal about it, okay.
Have I said otherwise?
Isaiah 30:10
... Speak to us smooth things, prophesy deceits.
Bump for later
One could argue over this till doomsday. However that is missing the big picture, and God does not stand on trivia.
There is a fine tradition of irony, if nothing more, that would permit flouting a false Jesus with that name, when the meaning of doing so is clear.
And you are your own authority as to what a deceit is?
A name has a context. It isn’t a piece of unalloyed magic.
“false Jesus with that name, when the meaning of doing so is clear”
I agree, but you prefaced with “false” which makes it clear that you are not directing such comments toward the true Jesus.
Would you do the same for the term “Allah”?
Muslims worship a false god, a false Allah. Their Allah is not the true Allah.
Perhaps I should put “Allah” in quotes because so many associate the word with Islam.
There is a difference between saying someone preaches a false Jesus and saying Jesus is false. There is a difference in saying Muslims worship the Devil not Allah, and saying Allah is the Devil.
Allah is the word that the one true God chose for His Arabic title. Either this is true or it is false. I have supported this statement with scripture. You can either ignore the Word of God, listen to it, or prove that my basis for saying this is in error.
I am open to being proved wrong. So far the responses I’ve gotten are from people who don’t like to hear what I have to say but have no arguments against it being correct.
....Or rather of you being wrong.
Wow, I never thought of that. What a convincing argument.
I don’t like what you are saying so it must be wrong. /s
Sounds like liberal logic to me.
The supporting arguments I have presented are factual historically and Biblically. I have asked to God to show me if I am wrong. I have asked Him to use others on this forum to correct my errors if there are any in this matter.
So far He has answered my prayer by people such as yourself having nothing to answer.
I will not be so stubborn or proud as to say that it is impossible, but so far I have been vindicated.
Not a single person has given a shred of evidence contrariwise. So until you or they do, I will continue to make the case that abusing the word “Allah” is disrespectful to God even if ignorantly and unintentionally.
If I am wrong, may God correct me for it. Otherwise may He correct you and the others in error on this forum.
My advice would be, let this forum be, let it be. God understands.
Another word of advice, please try to practice a little more humility and realize those who post to you are simply are giving different opinions and nothing more.
Thank-you and God Bless.
