I have a female friend who lives in Indiana. She told me a story during the 2008 presidential campaign. While in a salon, the discussion of Obama vs. Romney arose and the other women ganged up on her for preferring Romney. The main reason the others supported Obama was that “Romney doesn’t allow women to work outside the house.” The stylist said “I need my job!” Apparently, they heard that Romney’s religion prevents females from working outside the home. They heard this on a daytime talk show. Granted, Romney has/had his negatives but this could be the stupidest 2008 pro-Obama stance of all.
Like I said women have been dumbed down by Oprah and daytime TV.
I was in the crowd yesterday. I told my daughter I was going to boo when they announced her as a guest......my daughter laughed...turns out I was not the only one...was very loud boos......in Midtown ..... I am sure it will be edited out of the show on Thursday.
