Maybe the majority of Black Folk prefer not to spend the money to attend?

much-did-you-spend-going-to-burning-man/

All kinds of demographic info about burning man:

You’re as bad as watching Mexican cooking shows on weekend mornings where they mix up fresh margaritas by hand! I don’t need to be shown drink recipes in the AM :)

The density of the bones in the Negroid race, along with lack of sub-cutaneous body fat makes it very difficult for blacks to float. On the other hand, women have more sub-cutaneous fat, and the bones are less dense, making them the most likely to float, so more likely to have lack of fear to learn how to. Floating is the first thing a person learning to swim must do to feel comfortable in the water.

Maybe Improv Everywhere should bring a black guy to the Burning Man festival like they did to Aspen, CO.

Since Aspen, Colorado has an African American population of 0.44%, we decided to give the locals a chance to “meet a black person.” We put comedian Colton Dunn in an empty hot chocolate kiosk at the foot of the mountain to greet folks as they exited the slopes.

So they’re living on a steady diet of government cheese and living in a van down by the river?

Perhaps there is something to this.

Click here to see why camping might be a "white" thing. Bring your sense of humor, the article is actually quite funny.

Does going camping entitle a person to get more welfare and food stamps?

“When I told her Palmer was a nice place to live she said it had too many trees and would never want to live there.”

Do they have a superstition about trees or do they prefer rock and sand like Muzzies?

Or another way of putting it; "Servants to the Prince of the Power of the Air attending one of his festivals."

I camped in Yellowstone the summer of ‘84 with my babycakes and a bottle of scotch. It was snowing. I would do it again in a heartbeat. Every time I hear Joplin sing Bobby McGee I smile.

As I’ve gotten older I’ve found that I love my comfort while camping.

I *LOVE* camping, so long as it's in a Hyatt.

Thought I saw some sort of reference the other day to “....the 34 million dollar non profit......” Guarantee somebody’s making some profit off of it.

"quiet underpopulated campground with showers"

Unfortunately such places don't seem to exist in California. If there are showers, then there are hoards of campers with boom boxes, etc.

So it's either showers and noisy crowds, or pit toilets and peace and quiet for me.

We used to like to pitch a tent & camp; then graduated to a pop-up camper; then got old & sleep at home in our own sleep number bed.

I think it is probably true that blacks don’t like to camp out. We used to camp in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park campground near Gatlinburg, TN; didn’t see a lot of black families there at that time; but they’re welcome to go if they like.

On a somewhat related note, 4 or 5 guys from my platoon on Parris Island couldn't pass Swim Qual. They were all Black, or Dark Green in Marine parlance.

There are several programs in Denver that take inner city youths into the mountains to hike or ski. Generally, they love it, but just can't afford to do it on their own.
