The Donald welcomes input.

Who would you suggest?
And why.

Palin must be part of Trump's cabinet or she must go for Senator.

Cruz if he does not make the big show. He has a track record of success.

But in general, about practically no one from the GOP power structure. There are plenty of dismissed by Liberals lawdogs from the JD that are not co-opted by the RNC/USCOC. Start there.

Gowdy has followed Bhoner’s instructions to the letter. He is as big a problem as the Dems. Both obstruct justice, not further it. There is no excuse for what he has done or more correctly, NOT done.

I enjoyed Sarah’s exchange with Tapper.

My favorite part, next to the trivia pursuit comment (kind of went by too fast) was when Sarah said,...

“I don’t know if other candidates were asked the same questions, so I don’t know if they’d have the right answers. I don’t think public gives a FLYING FLIP about whether or not the next president can name the specific leader of a specific region, today, as all of that will change, by the time the next President comes into power.”

Also liked when she disagreed with Niki Haley over “Republicans party often appears cold and unwelcoming to minorities”. Sarah doesn’t have “Nicki the Panderer’s” back, on this! Boom!

We want someone who will put America first and the welfare of Americans first. Someone who will really fight for America.

CNN, playing the Sarah Palin card.

...if "stupid & ignorant" Sarah Palin is a Trump supporter and defender, what's that say about all Trump supporters.

They didn't invite her on to defend Trump, they had her on to further mock her and her fans.

Don't believe me, watch Chuck Todd's facial expressions as Sarah swats each of his negative questions about Trump right back at him.

The Left “ will always tell us” whom they hate, but it’s the polls that inform their fear, and nothing but the polls. That is why the “fear” ebbs and flows, but their hate goes on forever.

Nothing causes “fear” like election victory, or sky high, historic polls indicating the chance for victory. Polls carry clout.

Popularity doesn’t guarantee you high polls, but otoh, high polls do indicate popularity.

The Gotcha Questions worked on Bush, worked on Dan Quail, even helped to bring down Palin—But the people see it for what it is—a tactic only. Its an attempt to make Republicans looks stupid. Democrats are given the answers so they look really smart. Trump can master such tactics. He doesn’t need to prove how smart he is—he has been successful in the real world.

We Need a ‘Tough’ POTUS, Not a Master of Trivial Pursuit

And here I was thinking we needed a "just" POTUS who protects citizens from the tyranny that comes from within, foreign aggressors from beyond the border and they themselves obeyed the law and live moral lives under the law not just an elite who lives above according to his own rules. Tough tyrants are more frightening than weak tyrants. First before one gets all giddy about the Donald's toughness, it would be wise to know to what end that toughness will be used. The same toughness that can be used for your best interests can be used against your best interests. Where is the guiding principle that keeps that later in check? In many ways Harry Reid is tough. I need a bit more character than just tough and I am looking for a longer resume on liberty and the constitution from Trump. A totalitarian regime that overthrows another totalitarian regime is still totalitarian. Trump needs to show more than toughness, he needs to show justice, goodness and the appropriate measure of mercy before I pull the lever.

Since Palin was pretty much unknown in the lower 48, the MSM was able to write her story. The incompetent McLame campaign was unable to counter it.

Trump’s story is so well known (especially via his Apprentice show) that the MSM is unable to have much impact.

I hope a team is forming. Trump, Cruz, Carson, Palin ...?

They all seem to get it and understand each other's usefulness in the big picture vs. getting their panties all wedged up in single-issue insanity. Here's hoping they build a real collaboration for the benefit of the People - even those who haven't a clue.

Seriously, he should have pulled out his iPhone and asked Siri...then hold her answer up to the microphone. Ask Siri or Alexa those questions and you get the answer almost every time, why should anyone be forced to memorize Wikopedia? He could have just asked the host...by the way, what month was I born? This isn’t Trivial Pursuit, it is about MANAGING a country...something that has not happened since Reagan. Only people who do not understand the function of the Presidency would ask such a question. (Therefore we will hear many of them!)

Even if Trivial Pursuit was a legitimate means of assessing a candidate, how can we be sure that it is applied fairly?

For example, if Megan Kelly wants to make Trump look bad, she has asks him to talk about some particular tribal leader in Africa. Of course Trump cannot (and neither can anyone else with a non-pointed head outside of the State Department).

But then Kelly can take it a step further and give Jeb a similar question about another tribal elder. Except in Bush’s case, he would have the question in his hands a few days prior and be ready to answer.

Does it happen? I don’t know about these cases, but Hillary’s staff has made it clear that she will not do ANY INTERVIEWS without being handed the questions in advance, and the media has met those terms.

“He failed his first test this week with his response to the Kim Davis situation.”

I wouldn’t say failed, more like punted. Not a great answer, but there are also worse answers.

As it is, the Republican Party will be reduced to a localized Think Tank if we don’t get rid of the Illegals, and I don’t see anyone else stepping up. And Think Tanks, no matter what they believe cannot do Kim Davis a damn bit of good either.

What I love is her saying she’d like to head up the Dept of Energy—in order to quickly close it down!

Nice model, but would take a full term to unwind the operations, for example, of HUD.
