Moore and Kudlow are open border fanatics. Read with a grain of salt.

The USA can produce everything anyone could ever need right here in the USA . It has land ,people(workers), tech, natural resources, unlimited coal , gas ,oil, wood ,farmland. there is no need to trade with the rest of the world. the media has brainwashed all to be for trade when that is just a method the left is using to destroy America.

The word for such a nation is an autarky. The US might need some trade but my guess is we could be 95% self sufficient and maybe higher. We would have to rev up our steel and electronics sectors. Copy Japanese and Korean electronics for all I care. Reverse engineer them and make them on US soil with US workers with US made equipment and tools

They are straight from the Wall Street Journal's editorial page. Free trade über alles and open borders and bring in half million H1-Bs each year. Huge trade deficits don't matter to them. Stephen Moore writes (some) WSJ editorials and has been there a long time

The only problem with free trade is that we are the only ones practicing it.

What does the USA need from another country? lets see an answer

the USA has unlimited coal, oil, farmland ,wood ,natural resources, tech etc.

waiting .....

Why do we need to trade so badly ? could it be a leftist plan to destroy America? Yes it is because there is no dire need to trade, nor any need for immigrants . in fact with less workers there is more automation and robots whicn
