Many if not most conservatives took issue with Kelly’s ‘debate’ performance. You, however, take issue with a GOP candidate standing up for himself and speaking the truth. No doubt you’d prefer he imitate a doormat, a la Rove’s Bush.

Oh great, it's this argument again. There is a difference between "standing up for himself" and engaging in petty feuds and slinging personal insults on Twitter.

RR served as a spokesman for Barry Goldwater in 1964.

RR campaigned for many Republicans across the country before getting elected POTUS.

RR served as governor of CA for two terms.

RR paid his dues.

DT donates to Democrats.

DT has little in common with RR.

DT has more in common with Ross Perot.

They don’t want any tough questions from the press.

"By show of hands, how many of you vow, here and now, not to try to run US Senator from Kentucky while running for President?" If that question were put forth, it would have been directed at one guy, while making pretense of being for the whole panel.
That was not a tough question Baer asked Trump; that was a grandstand play, and a right-off-the-bat attempt to put him on defense and drive a sharp wedge between him and the others (and the party). It was a singling-out. It was "Bush" league.

Megyn: "(back when you were in reality TV, etc) You have referred to certain women as hogs and skanks and dogs and blimps -- is that any way for a presidential candidate to talk?" Good grief Charlie Brown! That is not a tough question; it was completely rhetorical, and completely designed to make Trump look bad, and to put him (again) on defense. Little did she know that it would be that question that would give birth to one of Donald's most potent distinctives: he is in process as we speak of ridding the dialogue of the political correctness that has sandbagged conservatives for decades now.

A tough question would be: "What do you intend to do to reign in the bureaucracy?"

So, yes, give Trump tough questions; just don't play those stupid drama-queen games.

Exactly. Fox has gone left as Rupert announced he was turning the network over to his youngest son who is the big liberal and climate change clown. Roger fears for his job as the Murdoch kid gave Clintons some 6 million. The first question in the debate was from the little sissy boy Bret’s question about ruling out a 3rd party. Then Wallace and Kelly continued the Fox blast of Trump. F Fox. I want my country back.

Nonsense.

Many businessman are successful without giving money to the Dems.

Have you ever heard of the Koch brothers?

Have you ever heard of the Hunt brothers?

I could go on and on and on.

I don’t buy this crap.

DT is buddy buddy with the Clintons. They came to his latest wedding to his latest trophy wife. He gave to her campaigns and to their foundation. DT is in bed with the Clintons. Bill called DT just before he launched his campaign. Do you get that???? Please put down your Trump Kool Aid and wake up and smell the coffee!!!!!!!

One would expect FNC staff and management to circle the wagons in defense of Megyn Kelly, but I suspect they might not be aware that not all FNC viewers share their opinion of her. Recall that during the controversy over Trump’s statements about John McCain, not a single FNC commentator acknowledged publically any awareness that there was a backstory (widely circulated on FR and other outlets) which cast significant doubt on the “accepted” version of his experiences as a POW. Similarly, even though I am an FNC junkie, I’ll bet that I am not alone in ranking Megyn Kelly relatively low in my hierarchy of preferred FNC hosts and commentators. This apparent lack of awareness of the opinions of FNC views about Megyn Kelly could actually be symptomatic of a larger problem in which the same (often mediocre) commentators are selected to appear on multiple programs within a single week, usually to comment on the same subject each time. I don’t know whether this is a talent deficit, a matter of budgetary contraints, or the biases of those FNC managers who control programming. Perhaps FNC is experiencing a sort of “regression toward the mean” phenomenon in which, over time, their ideological orientation is moving increasingly toward the middle. It makes me sad to think what FNC will look like once it no longer has Sean Hannity and his frequent contributor Mark Levin, both of whom are often out of harmony with the more “center-right” position of FNC generally. I’m hoping that, by then, NewsMax TV will have expanded its talent base beyond those few that it currently has representing conservatism (e.g., Steve Malzberg, J.D. Hayworth).

The guy is playing us like bass fiddles. I think the “bimbo” comment was gauche, but I think he’s deliberately stirring things up, to show people that he’s not beholding to any one network esp Fox.

Megan Kelly started it up again as soon as she got back from vacation. The beginning of her show involved trashing trump and coaxing her two guests to do the same.

Of course most of the media lies and won’t tell you Trump is retaliating after being attacked first.

I’m far more concerned about Trumps trashing Walker with leftist talking points. And I don’t remember Walker attacking him first.

Many businessman are successful without giving money to the Dems.

Not real estate developers in liberal cities. That's a cost of doing business.

I have had many clients who are real estate developers and if they didn't grease the palms of local pols, they might as well close up shop.

Haha.

Many know the Koch brothers as the Republicans’ biggest ally. But it wasn’t too long ago that the Kochs were actually donating to the Democrats.

Yes, the Koch brothers have given millions of dollars to both conservative and libertarian causes, but their PAC, privately held by Koch Industries, also gave to Democratic candidates and causes. The money is being spent on trying to influence the list of lawmakers which includes Chuck Schumer, Mary Landrieu and Mark Pryor.’

The wide open borders and the real time, irrevocable destruction of the country PALE beside the momentous, life and death issues you would have Kelly focus on.

Don't you see the irony in your statement? Trump has decided one of the most important issues he should focus on as a presidential candidate is picking on a female blonde TV journalist.

The country's got real problems and Trump prefers to focus again and again on a triviality that doesn't matter to any of us.
