-- When the trials begin, it will be a kangaroo judge with a kangaroo jury. --

I don't think there will be many trials. It will be Texas vs. a few who are on camera committing violence (and self defense will be raised in many of those cases); and Accused v. Texas for a few who have a fire in the belly over being arrested without probable cause.

Depending on what the videos show, there might be one or two wrongful death suits running in various directions (biker v. biker; biker v. state)

Most will walk away, with whatever lingering sentiment they may have.

It's quite difficult to put together a kangaroo jury biased to convict. I'll be shocked if there are erroneous criminal convictions flowing from the events at Twin Peaks. Kangaroo judges, on the other hand, are a dime a dozen.

“Yager told him he is a chaplain for the Bandidos “

Apparently the qualifications for becoming a chaplain for the Bandidos is the willingness to bring multiple guns to a gunfight.

That settles that.

My little speculative wondering was perhaps far too generous on the side of hoping to have caught sight of evidence (no matter how slim) of good conscious on the part McLennan County DA's office.

That government agency, in the persons of the occupant of those offices, still have opportunity to demonstrate good conscience.

Yet if they do keep pressing charge of conspiracy in those instance where there is no real evidence for it, other than presumption of (additional?) facts not in evidence, what would tell us?

You do not need answer that, for that last was of course form of rhetorical statement. And one that could be difficult to find best answers and responses for, in way of solution & cure for what it is which seems to be ailing us within our judiciary processes.

Appointing a policeman as grand jury foreman, doesn't seem to me to have been towards direction of the sought after cure.

He said the Cossacks weren't members of the coalition and were not invited to the Sunday noon meeting.

It was an OPEN MEETING. COCI events are open-mic meetings. It was held in a public restaurant, pre-announced, published in flyers. Officials in COCI have made it quite clear over the past TWO DECADES that COCI meetings, which are held regularly all across the U.S. to discuss such things as biker legislation, are open to ANYBODY, whether they are in a motorcycle club or not, and whether or not they even ride a motorcycle.

For this cop to say that they "weren't invited" is wholesale horse puckey. THAT IS A FACT.

They were in an open war! Bandidos versus Cossacks.

Bandidos told Cossacks not to show up wearing Texas rockers.

FACT. GANG WAR!

This is a kangaroo court from start to finish.

You got that right. It's a particularly dangerous one, too. It isn't messing with some small-scale local scandal. It's messing with the entire concept of American motorcycle clubs. It's messing with dynamite.

Where is that info?

Well, he's technically correct, maybe. There was no express invitation sent particularly to the Cossacks.

I think the "relocation to Waco" is a similar red-herring.

At least one police infiltrator came to the meeting dressed in Cossack garb. There must be probable cause to arrest him as a conspirator too, under the logic applied by Texas courts.

-- Bandidos told Cossacks not to show up wearing Texas rockers. --

That allegation does not appear in the sworn complaint.

As best I can tell, the source of that allegation is an informant who goes by the stage name of "Charles Falco." The contention, as presented by Falco, is independent of showing up at any particular venue, but is rather a general rule. In other words, the more precise statement is "Bandidos told Cossacks not to wear Texas rockers." Period.

Visiting Judge James Morgan finds sufficient probable cause to bind Yager over for grand jury.

Good common sense decision and a further demonstration that it wasn't just folks wearing colors who got arrested.

In other news... seven subsequent examination trials were immediately canceled at the request of defendant's counsel.

-- Good common sense decision ... --

To those who see state's statement of "no evidence of conspiracy" as meaning "they probably engaged in conspiracy," sure, it's a common sense decision.

-- ... it wasn't just folks wearing colors who got arrested. --

The test applied by the DA is guilt by association. Association can be evidenced by garb, or, as it was in Yager's case, by admission.

Schwartz said Yager, "by self-admission," is a member of the Bandidos.

-- In other news... seven subsequent examination trials were immediately canceled at the request of defendant's counsel. --

I believe that. Got a cite for it? Just looking for additional details, information being hard to come by and all that.

“I think the “relocation to Waco” is a similar red-herring.”

The ‘relocation to Waco’ is what really set off the Cossacks. It was the ultimate ‘in your face’ act by the Bandidos.

“At least one police infiltrator came to the meeting dressed in Cossack garb.”

Correction: Rumor has it at least one police infiltrator came to the meeting dressed in Cossack garb.

So now, whether or not there was undercover LE present, yet to be determined, that would be somehow wrong?? Bikers themselves WON’T hold the Bandidos accountable for their crimes. LE, when they try with something like plain old vanilla OLD FASHIONED LE undercover work, is not tolerated?? Why not?

Without the undercover cops their to force them to do criminal acts, the biker gangs would have all been at church with their kids instead of at a breastaurant.
