It’s this sort of thing that indicates to me that Trump isn’t the best choice for President. I think it’s clear to most of us here that Geller arranged the “draw Mohammed” event as a planned protest to support freedom of speech. Now, if you use the words “planned protest to support [blah blah]) to most libs, you’ll have their attention and probably support right away. But apparently Trump doesn’t understand the ramifications of free speech issues or support ye olde “planned protest” events.

Though that was “used” as the legal reasoning for the event it was actually in defiance of what had occurred with the newspaper abroad....and everyone knew that as well....Geller was the wrong individual to have hosted that as she rides the fence of being antagonistic....and most know that as well.

The “right” person to do something like that is the one who will actually do it. She stepped up to the plate. No one else would.

Yes, that’s my point. Some have suggested that Pam should have had better security. But why? Why in America should we HAVE to defend our physical person to enjoy free speech? That says a lot about Islam if that’s the case.

At issue is the event ‘was promoted’ as a thinly veiled free-speech event when in fact it was in opposition to the terrorist attack in France on the newspaper...and the previous event held by CAIR in that same location as Geller’s event.

So I can agree with Trump that Geller was “Taunting” Muslims....that is what she does as an anti-Islamic activist/journalist.

There are plenty enough reasons terrorists attack from their own Koranic mandate to do that without deliberately inciting confrontations which this event did. ...and of course as it ultimately played out....All knew this would provoke violence and it did.

I’m not convinced at all that any events held will discourage or prevent the Islamic threat to this nation as long as Islamic Muslims are in our Government and abusing our laws to their advantage and protection.

No,.... that says a lot about America in allowing them to come here in droves with a red carpet of welcome. 'We' are allowing this invasion and assisting in it happening. So it says more about the weakness of 'our people' then it does Islam.

... Islam is simply following what Islam teaches that there are no borders for Islam/Muslims and their duty is to infiltrate 'every' country by population and building Mosques and Community centers as their base of operations.

He’s at best a RINO, but that takes thinking and not emoting to realize.

He's an emoter, that's for sure. I regarded his remarks about Geller as being absurd, and still do -- but I like that he sticks to his guns, that he's got broad appeal (I don't give a **** about the negatives for him or any other Pubbie, because there's a good-sized hard-core group of straight-ticket Demagogic Party supporters who will literally *never* vote for a Republican), and that he can walk on water. Oh, wait, he can't.
FReeper Grampa Dave perhaps said it best:
If Hiterily gets elected with enough votes in Congress, these will be the good old days.

The purists, who will stay at home because our candidate couldn't walk on water without getting the soles of his Teva's wet will have gifted us with another Clintoon pillaging.

I see Trump as a conservative Democrat. His positions remind me of the pro-America union members I know. More government, but with ‘our’ guy making the deals. Are you familiar with Roman history?
