Chrissy says Trump speaks for the little guy.
The little guy wonders “whose going to take care of my country....all I’ve got is my country?” Trump is most trusted - not just on stopping illegal immigration, but on bringing jobs back, etc....standing up for the little guy.
If Trump can bring back the blue collar Union guys into the fold of Conservatism—he may well have a chance. The Democrats are becoming the party of the Blacks, Latinos, Transgenders, Gays, etc.... They forgot the white union guys who are left behind.
Only 10% of the entire private sector is in a union. So blue collar does not equate to union, union participation or Union sympathies.
During the Clinton impeachment saga, most of us on FR were cheering on Chrissie-Fit. I'm sure that because of that Chrissie had to change his tone and become a rabid attack-Chihuahua for the Left in order to get re-invited to the cocktail parties.
I actually think Trump rightly isn’t so condescending. Trump wants the country to be what it could be too—even though he’s rich with lots of access and alternatives.
And, even the “little people” in the modern US have decent lives, families, etc.
