Any suggestions as to who is making similar music today?
I've kind of thought Muse might be an up and comer. Went and saw them a couple of years ago and they had a great show. Sounded like a cross between U2 and Floyd. They've been kind of quiet since then, and are subject to getting their most popular songs over-played, but they're worth keeping an eye on.
Some find them a bit over-dramatic, but I like it.

Bad news. I thought he was still around. How did I miss that?

I’m sorry about being snarky about it. I should have resisted.
Rick was a good guy. A very big loss. :(

S'all good. No worries.
Besides, the brand of tuner I use for my guitars is called a Snark. So if you're snarky...you're in tune!
