Isn’t there an island at southern end that has a seasonal resort and own landing strip?
If you look at the ocean flow, it’s had plenty of time to get there from about anywhere in the Indian Ocean. If it had turned up a few weeks after the disappearance, your theory would have some support. But at this late date, your conclusion is made from scratch.

A lot of islands in the area. Many without names on the map I was looking on. Can any one lay a map on the flow charts given a couple if weeks ago ?

Where are the two locations where material has been found on that chart ?
Should help narrow the search if they shared the same path
The two locations that debris have been found are Reunion Island and the Maldive island chain. The distance between the two is 2009 miles or 3233km.

Wonder which side kg the island and specifically which of the islands they were found on. It may indicate a crash between them
