Thanks . Glad someone else sees it. You had a great post this thread as someone else pointed out.
It’s amazing to me that people trust career politicians that haven’t done anything conservative over a business man.
Thanks.
I am amazed that some people can’t see the bigger picture of the Trump phenomena...there are so many positives in it for conservatives, sometimes they can’t get out of their own way to get what they want. ha.
Amen!
When it looks like God is going to get the glory by talking sense through an ass, after man’s attempts have failed, all of a sudden their vested pride interests are insulted. Some of the pushbacks are even highly dressed in “religion.”
Old, old biblical story.
I keep asking..when people complain about Trump not having “experience”...uh, and Obama? How much worse could that be? actually Hildebeast doesn’t have “experience” except to curtail the Bimbo Erruptions and “flying “ all over the world.ha.
The following is accurate, in context and has nothing to do with me.
Donald Trump said the following in answer to the question about repentance...After 1 minute, 52 seconds,...
https://youtu.be/IFH1ghoMmg0?t=1m52s
“Why do I have to ask for forgiveness, if you’re not making mistakes, I work hard, I’m an honorable person, I have thousands of people that work for me, I’ve employed tens of thousands of people over the years...”
He is saying that he believes he walks partially in virtue.
Sometimes religionists can be so full of themselves and requiring people to fit their formulae that they can’t puzzle whether a quiet work of God is happening to someone who does not fully understand it.
But let’s go ahead, suppose the worst. That he is worldly and knows nothing personally of God as savior from sin (even though it looks in some places that he might).
Can God raise a voice up through such a person, to make Christians jealous?
My humble answer would have to be, yes.
The story of Nebuchadnezzar is interesting for those with the attention span and focus to finish reading it—especially the part about grazing.
I’m inclined towards the conspiracy theory as well.
Perot redux => Clinton redux.
Bush redux => Clinton redux.
Yes, many paths lead to a common outcome — the worst possible. Conservatives will have to thread the needle on this election.
How sad it is for those who are buffeted by the winds of change, and who have not the solid ground of principles to stand upon. There is nothing more pitiable than a man without conviction.
I see him differently - a bomb-thrower and agitator to suck light and sound from Conservatives. A stalking horse. Give the people what they want - after all, that is in the end, The Art of the Deal.
Why not let Trump have a chance, he cant be any worse than the other non-Cruz candidates.
I am fine with populism, in it's place. And the bomb-throwing is dragging the field to the right, I suppose... But it is absurdity to rally to this man, and the distraction bodes ill for those who are better deserving of your attention, Cruz, particularly... In the end, Trump cannot win.
Unless of course the turn of phrase is blasphemy... And an offense to the Christian Right... Which this is.
I love what Trump is doing, but let's stay grounded.
Pure populists like Trump are not often cutters. Often they increase spending to increase their popularity. He does say he wants to eliminate the corporate tax which is a huge step in the right direction. Secondly he says he wants to balance the budget which would be a good thing. The problem however is not just the huge amount of spending, it is the encroachment of the federal government through that spending. Whole departments will have to be cut. He refuses to be specific like some of the other candidates are.
Did you read the purpose of my list?
You’ve changed the subject, too.
Focus.
Sorry. Absurd.
The guy gets on stage and brags about buying politicians and you compare him to Jesus going after the corrupt?
Please. Can we buy some perspective?
How does a guy who brags about buying favors from politicians compare to Jesus in the temple? That is what is baffling me.
