(The above is not a statement of fact. It is either satire or opinion. Or both.)

News media is completely ignoring Venezuela. Why?
To: GoneSalt
Because he’s doing such a great job with what he has.

News media is completely ignoring Venezuela. Why? Because it undermines The Narrative?

Maybe Maduro needs to research "Falkland Islands?"
And just suppose he lands his forces in French Guiana and not Guyana? TROUBLE!!

Because it’s just another failed attempt at a socialist utopia.

When your Socialism is going bad for you.
Starting a War and seizing Territory is always a good idea.
Gets rid of the Unemployment Problem and you can bring back Bounty and War Prizes.
States like this must constantly expand or die.

Somewhat familiar with that area north of the Cuyuna river. 99.9% lush jungle and a few sparse settlements. Gold and some diamonds. Guyana is generally pro-west and probably won’t take too kindly to this.

The idiot media loves socialist losers. This is because these dimwit pinheads are just like them...tyrants with a sick agenda of oppression of others.

Like any national socialist government, as soon as they’ve bled their own country dry, the try to rob their neighbors.

This is another instance of something that would NOT be in America’s interest that the Obama regime may well simply not oppose and allow to happen if not actively and/or covertly promote. This is in IMHO of course, but it would certainly fit in with Obama’s modus operandi as he continues to endeavor to weaken America and strengthen America’s enemies however he can.
To: GoneSalt
Obama and Kerry would draw a red line, but Obama's on vacation and Kerry is riding falling off his bicycle.
