Some of the Presidential candidates I’ve supported in my life: Goldwater, Ashbrooke, Reagan, Crane, DuPont, Forbes, Thompson, Cruz. You will note only Reagan made it. Reagan’s age was the reason to support Crane first in 1980. It was easy to switch to Reagan later.

The only way I’ll ever vote for Trump is if he is the nominee. I won’t like it. If elected he’ll be Jesse Ventura all over again.

Reagan was the last time I was actually excited about an election cycle. I agree - I like what Trump is doing but am donating to Cruz. If Trump is the last man standing, I will vote for him with a clear conscience but regret that Cruz isn't there.

Cruz seems to understand and agree with the reason trump has become such a celeb with so many - he's smart and will leverage it as well as anyone could - there is hope and it is early.

Those 4 million people were perfectly reasonable conservatives, I was among them. The Trump and Palin derangement sufferers are a minority who will come in line anyway.
