He’s the 2016 “Vote for none of the above” candidate. And I love it!

If Trump bolts for a 3rd party, I’ll put on my metal colander helmet and join the conspiracy theorists who have been claiming Trump was a Hillary plant all along.

Seriously, if he does that it’s proof he was just playing the system of the GOP primary process to rig a Hillary presidency. I will not be emotionally crushed if that happens, it will be more of a feeling of resignation. I’m too old, too cynical, and too jaded to be either surprised or upset. In that event, Trump will turn out to be just another lying crook using the political system to rip off decent Americans. It won’t make him different in kind to what we already have as a ruling class, just different to a degree.

the reality all Americans see around them

Pretty sure not 100% of Americans understand the rality around them - the so called low information voters are seeing anything.

Morris should stick with his latest schtick-giving investment advice.

Trump's properties are already effectively being managed by his children. No worries there.

Trump is at the stage of his life (69) where he can begin transitioning to the next generation, while still being able to coach and guide them as necessary. It's a good position for him to be in.

I'm sure that Trump is feeling his mortality and has been wondering what to do with the remaining productive years of his life. Being president of the United States is not a bad way to cap an already wildly successful career. There is no doubt whatsoever that Trump has a very large ego (there's nothing wrong with that) and is thinking about how history will remember him. Will history remember Trump as simply a successful and eccentric business man like a Howard Hughes or will history remember Trump as a history-changing president of the United States?

Trump has the opportunity here to become a truly historic figure and he evidently has the drive and energy to make it happen.

I believe that Trump’s message will sell to many working class and middle class people that usually vote Democrat. I think it will be popular with many legal immigrants that did things the right way.

I always like to enjoy Dick’s analysis, which is often brilliant and spot on, and then disregard his conclusions which are usually wrong.

I don't know if Trump is feasible or not, but if something drastic doesn't happen, America is toast. My prayer would be that Trump win in an overwhelming landslide (think, Reagan vs Carter) and then aspiring career politicians would realize that the coming "thing" is conservative, right wing politics. Then they would adjust themselves accordingly.

Seriously, if the pendulum doesn't swing back right, and I mean very soon, the whole game is over.

He has groomed his two sons and daughter to run the businesses just as he would. The Trump businesses won’t miss a beat.

After all, Trump is pushing 70 years old. It’s only good business that he’d have a plan of succession at his age, and he does.

He put the matter into crystal focus, when, in an interview at Trump Tower the interviewer asked why he would abandon his businesses to run for President. His reply, “Because restoring America to her former greatness is more important than my businesses.”

Trump exemplifies the attitude of those paid by various levels of government. He’s a perfect fit for the economic collapse, riots and international nuclear exchanges to come. He’ll be the right person to express the rage of his political/regulator folks after their default layoffs in the near future, much like that seen in the movie, “28 Days Later.”

If elected, wouldn’t he have to give up control of all his properties and ventures? I don’t see him doing that.
