Those federal agencies are not trained in police work. The FBI agents are great investigators but know nothing of 24/7 policing. They are good at making arrests, but their way of doing business is planning ahead. Police have to make arrests on the spot, no time for planning ahead. Some of the decisions a municipal police officer have only seconds to make, the Supreme Court may split 5-4 in ruling the correctness of it. The police will be teaching the feds about street law enforcement. IMO
“Charm City” may have come about as a promo slogan for Baltimore during the Shaefer Administrations. He tried to rebuild the Inner Harbor and surrounding areas, restoring the “old Charm” of a once nice looking place (Baltimore fire of 1905 started a more modern urban renewal effort from the waterfront outward).
In the old days, 50’s/to mid-60’s, it was a nice place to live and there were some successful attempts to rebuild the inner city. Unfortunately West Baltimore degenerated into a real shit-hole and never recovered.
My sister was force out of Bolton Hill ( a restored neighborhood just below the Baltimore riots area) at gunpoint a number of years ago. Seems the blacks did their Christmas shopping down there, early, all year long. Killed a few people too.
Smart white liberals got the message and got out of town. As for the dummies, who cares. Once warned; if they don’t listen, they are on their own.
Now you know why half of Baltimore has no viable tax base.
That’s right; all whiteys’ fault...
The problem they are running into is that there are simply less and less white people to hang the blame on (and squeeze for money); like the elves of Middle Earth, many whites are packing it in and simply choosing voluntary extinction - leaving blacks to rail against the Asians and Hispanics trafficked here to replace us...
I think urban cores are becoming 100% black, but the cities themselves are increasingly Hispanic; they have a higher birthrate and a virtually endless stream of reinforcements. If they can wrest political control, the city becomes theirs; if not, the next generation moves on up the socio-economic ladder (and out of the cities).
I believe the affordable housing/Section 8 overhaul is designed to allot each municipality its share of urban unassimilated takers, since there is no way the cities can afford the costs associated with them without viable tax bases. In my area, less and less of the suburbs are “white”; NJ is rapidly filling up with Asians and Hispanics as whites flee to greener (and cheaper) pastures...
