It's a matter of who is displaying derangement syndrome and who is not. As Trump's poll numbers rise, the commentary becomes more strident against him.
They are not reporting the news, they are taking sides, and neither side likes what they're seeing. They are desperate to change things, whether they can or not.

First sentence was all I read. Not interested in anything else the Post has to say.
To: bkepley
Having watched several Trump interviews, I would say yes.

When I was doing politics, I always knew when I was winning by the increasing howls, accusations, criticisms, and general btchyness of the oppositions.
Mr. Trump is doing well.
If the Mainstream Republicans would have any courage, they would throw him and his kind out of the party.
Probably, the Mainstream Republican Party should start a purge of conservatives right now, in order to develop strong candidates for the elected Republics they will oppose.

Cute - but that’s not what I said.
Level headed in addressing hot button issues of our time, as in exploring both sides of the issue completely and fairly.
Here we’re talking about the ILLEGALS, and the critics ignoring the obvious detriment to America as a nation and individual Americans. Murder in cold blood is only the most recent atrocity.
Ignoring the non-PC side of an issue cannot be considered a fair analysis, and therefore not level headed.
That was a nice try anyway.

How about fair and balanced then? Level headed doesn’t mix well with anything Trump.

Anderson Cooper (aka “the rear admiral”) lives in la la land. The libs love a feeding frenzy and the mentality to beat up on one who speaks an opinion different than theirs. Faith and hope will get us through all this. Stay the course Mr. Trump!
To: bkepley
Level headed it is. Sorry.

Trump is making Cruz look “reasonable”, while the media was intent on making Cruz out to be a dangerous far-right extremist. That has to be eating at them daily.

Not worried about Trump. He feeds off those pathetic barbs,,and he turns around and blasts back with both barrels!

You hit the nail on the head. Cruz is simply a civilized, well-mannered, and well-spoken Trump.;-)
Both are iconoclastic bomb-throwers (which is what everyone likes about them).

Why are you surprised? The author's name is Chavez. Would you expect any different perspective from her?

I wouldn't worry to much about President Trump being beat up to bad, after all they are used to be in former pres Obama’s hip pocket...it will take awhile for them to remember that they are ‘reporters’ not ‘propgamist’ ....

I NEVER thought I’d say this but (agreeing with your comments) as things stand “today” (a lifetime in politics)- a TRUMP/CRUZ ‘16 would be the most formible ticket the Republicans have! I can see them getting 60% of the White, 30% of the Hispanic (yes), 20% of the African American, 35% of the Asian, and 25% of the Jewish vote! Someone should ask Michael Baronne to do the math but these %s spell Victory to me in the General Election.... Anything else is a gauranteed lost aka: McCain n ‘08 & Romney in ‘12!!
