"If we must have an enemy at the head of Government, let it be one whom we can oppose, and for whom we are not responsible, who will not involve our party in the disgrace of his foolish and bad measures." - Alexander Hamilton

"We don't intend to turn the Republican Party over to the traitors in the battle just ended. We will have no more of those candidates who are pledged to the same goals as our opposition and who seek our support. Turning the Party over to the so-called moderates wouldn’t make any sense at all." -- President Ronald Reagan

"A thing moderately good is not so good as it ought to be. Moderation in temper is always a virtue; but moderation in principle is always a vice." - Thomas Paine 1792

"It does not take a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men." - Samuel Adams

"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen." - Samuel Adams

And when he was asked if Republican candidates should be speaking out about Trump’s comments, Romney said, “I think a number of them have.”

Romney, et al., have yet to say a word about the truth and substance of Trump's statement of facts about illegal immigration, deportation dysfunction, gangs, drug cartels, terrorists, ineffective border security, the will of the people, etc.

Romney, et al., look like FOOLS! Do they have statistics on the percentage of illegals with criminal intent? Do they have statistics on percentage of illegals convicted of serious crimes who are in our jails? Do they have numbers of illegal aliens actually here to work?

Do they ever talk about the fairness to Mexicans who waited in line and immigrated in a legal manner to the USA?

Exactly what did Donald Trump say that is incorrect? Anything?

Who is paying these Republicans elite to look the other way?

Well that weeds out the RINOs.

Dear Mitt: Please SHUT THE F**K UP. We do not want to hear more about you and the hosting of the candidates... We could care less if you had Bernie, Hillary, Jim, Lincoln and Martin at your house to celebrate National Naturist Week. (That would be scary...all of them nude).

I think it’s a mistake to celebrate trump shooting his notorious mouth off. every time he does it, the MSM gleefully focuses on him instead of any of our sane candidates’ messaging. including, it must be mentioned, ted cruz, who was actually beginning to punch through the static before the dumb4$$ with the hair started dominating the news cycle.

"I think he made a severe error in saying what he did about Mexican-Americans,” Romney said.

When did Mexicans who come here illegally become Mexican-Americans?

I love Trump, I’m still voting for Cruz, no doubt, but Trump is taking out the field. He destroyed Rubio’s campaign with a single tweet, he put Bush on notice and knocked him into second place, and his tactics are only starting against the RINOs. Cruz is playing it smart by being authentically conservative and not attacking his fellow rivals in the same brash way that Trump is. But, Trump is clearing the field right now and I’m loving it!

I love what Cruz said:

“I salute Donald Trump for focusing on the need to address illegal immigration,” the Texas senator said on NBC’s Meet the Press in an interview that aired Sunday. “The Washington cartel doesn’t want to address that. The Washington cartel doesn’t believe we need to secure the borders. The Washington cartel supports amnesty and I think amnesty’s wrong, and I salute Donald Trump for focusing on it. He has a colorful way of speaking. It’s not the way I speak, but I’m not going to engage in the media’s game of throwing rocks and attacking other Republicans. I’m just not going to do it.”

(…)

“I like Donald Trump,” Cruz said. “He’s bold he’s brash. And I get that it seems the favorite sport of the American media is to encourage some Republicans to attack other Republicans. I ain’t gonna do it. I’m not interested in Republican-on-Republican violence.”
