Pull the pin, start”it” up. Putin will “fold”?

Those are strange words for you to use about our defensive measures in our own nations, against an enemy that currently is invading Ukraine, and threatening various NATO and non NATO nations with war.

When did you switch sides? When did you start calling a country moving up defenses to protect it’s borders against an Army on the move, whose leader is bragging about how quickly he can conquer you an act of war?

As the enemy is conducting an invasion, why are you saying that if we don’t sit paralyzed within our own nations, that we are trying to start a war?

As the enemy is conducting an invasion,...

The enemy is conducting an invasion and a tough guy like you hasn't engaged? That seems mighty queer, but I understand it. Your combat skillset is convincing others to go ahead of you while you critique their performance and motivation.

You are tactically invaluable to Obama, well done.

The child’s argument, and to think that childish nonsense came from a guy claiming to have served in the Navy.

It must have been painful for you to have to serve in our military, assuming it was ours that you served in

Today, you serve Russia, on the internet.

Russian jaugernaut

Really? About he only thing you've stated that makes sense is the 1930s reference. Russia was hardly a jaugernaut then, and she isn't today.

If we hadn't entered the war, Russia would not exist today. China has her own problems. War is on the horizon, but the teams are still being drafted. Have patience...

I heard the same arguments in the 1930’s about why there can’t be another war, similar to WW1. The argument then, as it is today, that “NO ONE IS STUPID ENOUGH TO START ANOTHER WAR THAT WOULD ENVELOPE THE WHOLE WORLD”. The catalyst that started WW2 was the world wide financial crash in 1929. We are headed for another world wide financial crash, and this will bring out the world dictators to begin to want what other countries have that they don’t have.

I have no doubt we’re headed for war. In fact, I’m already engaged in one. IMHO, we are much closer to 1918 than 1930. The events leading to WWI seem almost contrived when you look at the history.

The unreal events now playing out across the globe will no doubt trigger a cataclysmic collapse, but Russia will not be a major player. The bear and eagle will not play unless the dragon partners with the bear.

What you are forgetting, is that Germany and USSR signed an agreement, prior to WW2. The only reason that this happened was both of these dictatorial countries saw an easy picking in POLAND. The USSR had nothing to lose with this agreement, and they gained territory they always wanted from POLAND. Meanwhile in the Pacific side, Japan knew that they had a free hand, until they were stupid enough to attack the USA. All of these countries in the 30’s that were gobbling up their neighbor countries were all dictatorial. I see this happening today.

It’s possible, given the craven nature of our liberal Western leadership. What I’m saying is it won’t be the result of any Russian advance, but western capitulation.

Pretty much like we see in US politics—leftists aren’t winning elections or even hearts and minds—Republicans are all just corrupt pu$$ies.

Let me remind everyone, that in the 30’s, there were no “LEADERS” to speak off, to deny these dictators all their wishes. Those “LEADERS”, like Winston Churchill, were excoriated by the liberal press. That is happening today. The only thing these politicians are doing are just feathering their nests.
