Such a shame. She MUST outlive Charles. I know it sucks losing a child and it is not natural for a parent to bury a child but in this case, Charles will do horrible damage to England that may not allow for recovering from his horrible reign.
incredibly poor idea for the British people.
But it will facilitate completion of the creation of EuroStan as a unified provience of the global IslamoNazi Caliphate Obama is building. Put simply, Europe will be easier for the IslamoNazis to control if it is under the boot of a single dictatorship, rather than having to be controlled by 20 or more ayatollas
One unelected monarch (Elizabeth) admiring another (Brussels).
Speak to Naturalman1975.
You called :)
Quite seriously, I know the Prince of Wales quite well. I consider him a friend, and think he would say the same of me. He is really not like the caricature of him that the media has chosen to create. There are issues I disagree with him on, such as his environmentalism, but on most issues he'd fit in very well here at FreeRepublic if joining such a place was appropriate for him, and on many issues, he's more conservative than I am.
When he becomes King as I assume he will - long live the Queen and God save the Queen, but her son is two decades younger - the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth Realms will have a King utterly dedicated to doing his duty to his country and to the Commonwealth, with traditional, conservative values on most issues, a devoting to his Christian faith, and a rigid adherence to upholding the Constitutions of his separate realms. I see no reason to think he would do anything but good for his nations and their peoples.
The Duke of Cornwall (Prince William) is a fine young man, and the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth would be in capable hands if the throne fell to him in the near future, but he does not have his father's experience, for all that he has inherited his sense of duty. He also deserves the chance to live a more normal life for as long as he can.
Thanks. I am shocked by your post to be honest. I never met anyone that has spoken so highly of Charles. I only have two negatives about Charles....one how he treated Diana (horribly) and his environmentalism (which you mentioned). You did give me something to ponder when you mentioned about the experience needed to be King of England....that is probably a very good point. The other of course is allowing him to have a normal life longer which is important especially when he is still in a relatively new marriage and two young children. So I will take some time and allow all this to sink in and revisit your post again and reread it. I appreciate you taking the time to give some truth on Charles.......one thing I do take back is a rude call for his death before his Mother.....that was dramatics and I didn’t mean it. Again thank you so much for your post and have a great night.
Correcting, just because it will annoy me if I don't - Prince William is the Duke of Cambridge. His father is the Duke of Cornwall (as well as the Prince of Wales - both are titles traditionally held by the heir apparent).
