Cruz doesn't control transparency on TPP Jane....what he can do is set the stage for the long run on TPP which will not go in effect until the next Presidency....and Cruz knows the next President needs to hit the ground running on this.....passing it now gives our guys room to set the parameters on trade before hand and be ready to go.....this is why Pelosi fought against Obama.....they see the handwriting on the wall and aren't about to give any Republican President Administration an inch. Both sides of TPP are deciding according to the next election regarding TPP..not under Obama.....

Thanks. I know plenty about the candidates I listed. I simply corrected the mistaken statement that they were (all) for it.
There are respectable and honorable people on both sides of this debate.
Referring to those who disagree with you as approaching Alinsky, BSers etc is a race to the bottom.
Sorry, I don’t find Cruz’s behavior here honorable. It certainly is not honorable to tell these half truths like this is some high school debate club meeting. This is a serious matter and it deeply troubles me that Cruz is telling lies by omission.
Im also disappointed in the tactics (name calling, profanity) being used towards those who are not in support of TPP/Cruz support of TPP. That shouldnt be happening, on EITHER side. We should agree to disagree...with the debate and with the facts.
I agree. That’s why it so disappointing to see press releases like this.
It’s like the Cruz campaign thinks we can’t gather our own facts and need to be spoon fed. It’s all ham handed and not winning friends.
Rubio’s campaign has been much more nimble getting his message out while under attack. Cruz doesn’t seem to be able do that on this issue for whatever reason.
Then one of you please answer my questions. Thanks.
I support free trade but I do not trust any legislation as large as this one that is done in secret.
Like I’ve recently said...it’s like upside-down world, here. This all-in-regardless and supporting ANYTHING that give 0blama ANY power...with blind support, is simply amazing. If Cruz were against it, you’d see a whole different tone going on, here. Strange.
Agree!
Truly bizarro world!
Thanks very much for answering. I will study it.
‘Pod.
Roger that.
I’ll also toss this your way, an article with some background info on trade agreements and how they differ from treaties in the way they’re passed which I found very clarifying:

Who died and put you in charge?
Agree, I am pretty shocked at Cruz statements and behavior.
I really don’t see Cruz recovering from his error. I see his vote splintering among Paul, Santorum, and maybe Trump.
Last week I told my daughter Cruz was my candidate for POTUS... She asked me why and my main line of support was he supported truth, daylight on Govt, opposing Obama in ALL he wants and desires. Then we come to this and it looks like McConell-Boehner redux a la Cruz! Devastating!
If Cruz is elected president, McConnell and Boehner are not likely to continue in their leadership posts.
I can only pray that this would be true.
