If people waited until marriage for sex, a lot of problems would go away. Thing to keep in mind is, oncogenic HPV associated cervical cancer is a sexually-transmitted disease.

MOST HPV infections in adolescents resolve spontaneously - this is true of the several hundred strains of HPV which causes warts on virtually every epithelial surface on the body from fingers to eyelids to toes, knees, groin or cervix. But only a few of them carry the genes which CAN cause cancer.

Immunizations are a risk-benefit “medicine.” Abstinence before marriage, fidelity until death isn’t a curse it’s a blessing and the wages of sin are death. Most mature cultures realize that. We seem to be spending a lot of time and effort in preventing and treating behaviorally-related diseases like Hep B, HIV/AIDS, HPV, Chlamydia/Gonorrhea, Syphilis among others. A culturally mature/rational approach would be to put more $$ and effort into prevention and let those who decide to play “oppositional defiant disorder” face the consequences of their actions.

Immunize against measles-mumps-rubella, polio, Hemophilus influenza B, influenza in children? Sure. Especially if they’re in public school.

You want NOT to immunize yours? Keep them home.

There is a great obsession with sexualizing children these days, and it is truly evil and destructive, so needs to be stopped. In its way it is the darkest form of pedophilia, bordering on slavery, mutilation, and even murder for the perverse gratification of its proponents.

In this case, the biggest carriers of HPV are older, adult males who prey on young girls, and have had multiple sexual partners. These men are walking sacks of disease.

In people, the skin area from knees to about the navel, front and back, is called the “coliform zone”, because it is densely covered with a broad range of pathogenic fecal bacteria. It cannot be effectively cleaned because the bacteria are integrated with the skin. And each person’s biome, the collection of bacteria on their skin, is unique to that person as are their fingerprints.

When a couple have sex, they transfer dozens of different bacteria between themselves. This causes some degree of immune response. And with a virginal female, sometimes what is called a “yeast infection”, often confused with a venereal disease.

But in a person with multiple sexual partners, their biome can get so complex, that if they have sex with a virgin, the virgin gets a huge dose of alien bacteria and viruses all at once. Including HPV.

So, the way around this problem is first and foremost, socially enforced monogamy in marriage. Second, for both people to be tested prior to sexual activity. Only if the male is confirmed as having HPV should the female be able to opt for the vaccine, unless she wants to assume the risk for injury.

My granddaughter at 16 chose not to have the shot because she didn’t plan on sleeping around and she didn’t plan on having a forever relationship with anyone who had.

She’s 21 now and has stuck to her ideals. And that even as a college cheerleader where it is almost a cesspool of immorality. She always tried to influence her teammates and feels like she had some success.

At Maimonedes hospital (in a super-Orthodox-Jewish section) of Brooklyn, they seek to give a few shots to newborns for protection “just in case..” Hepetitis /gonorrhea were two I believe.... (at least the Hep) all on the assumption that every mother walking in is a typical street tramp. That was actually when we started studying up on our own in ernest, modifying greatly out vaccine schedules for our kids.

The studies of Gardisil were done on young women in their 20’s, in France. No studies included pre-teenagers and I was shocked when this Admin recommended the vaccine on those so young. I do not have a daughter, but wouldn't have required a daughter to get this vaccine. There are NO studies on the long term effects of Gardisil. But this Admin wanted all girls to get it as they have really ramped back the amount of pap smears any woman will be able to have. Used to be once a year, now every 3 years, ages 18-49. Every 5 years for ages 50-65 and only if the woman has symptoms after age 65. The only reason women survive FGT cancers after age 65 is the fact the cells can shed well before there are any visible symptoms. Obamacare is the main reason Gardisil was pushed so hard.......so woman won't have to worry so much about cervical cancer. But HPV doesn't account for approx 25% of the cervical cancers. I will get off my soapbox now, but please know that quality of our health care really took a hit when the Dems rammed through Obamacare. And the hit will reverberate for years to come.
