This is a luxury speed boat? A 25’foot open fishing boat?
I think Times should send a reporter and scout out Biscayne Bay, maybe they might learn something for a change instead of have some imbecile write stupid articles.

Frankly I think Marc is a piker, not a big spender guy. He should have got this.
At 120 mph he would fit right in with the South Florida boating scene.

We need a picture of Rubio’s yacht next to Kerry’s or Michal Moores...

This is just the beginning. There will not be one Republican primary candidate that will not be marginalized by innuendo, lies and hype.

The New York Times prints what their dem handlers give them... this story proves that... The Times needs to fire their editors and end the pretense... Times 'reporters' - AKA stenographers for dem operatives - can write the stories just as easily directly from the dem operative as from 'the editor. The editor - AKA the pass-though' guy - isn't needed.

New York Times could save a bundle - hire rewrite guys from India and blackball anyone who objects... like Disney does... The Times stands with illegals - might as well replace their staff with 'cheaper' too.

Those high level press releases don't require all the drama of being pretending they're real 'news'... That said, it's a nice fishing boat...

Compared to the boats owned by friends of mine, I find that price tag to be outrageous.......But it is what it is I guess...........

RE: $80,000 for THAT!! He got ripped off!

Just one half hour speaking engagement for Hillary in a college and she can buy more than 4 of those boats ( if indeed it was priced that much ).

For Ocean fishing off the Florida coast - usually ups the price some.

Apparently the outboards are the bulk of the cost. When you take a 25’ boat out in deep water and most likely he fished in the Gulfstream power, speed and reliability is insurance. The Atlantic off of South Florida can turn to very nasty squals very quickly and what might be thought of as a good size boat will seem like cork in the water and no place to be. The Edgewater boat cost a lot but no doubt is worth it and Rubio made a wise decision in buying it.

I’m okay with calling a $80k pleasure boat that goes over 50 mph a ‘speedboat’.

The Motors cost $16,000 each. Four Stroke Yamahas I think.

Yep. We have a 150 HP Yamaha four stroke on our 22 feet Hurricane deck boat. It's a sweet engine (we bought the boat with the motor used) but we're told that if we had to replace the motor, we'd have to shell out about $15,000. That's way more than our boat is worth. Rubio's boat looks like the striper guide fishing boats we see here on Smith Mountain Lake, VA.

Now the story on Rubio's "luxury" purchase of a row boat should (I said "should") lead to a story on the billionaire Clintons' lifestyle.

I'm just dying to know how the Clintons are spending the billions they connived to get---when the two con artists colluded to profit from top secret State Dept intel.....which Hillary wire-transferred via a computer in the Chappaqua basement.

I don’t care about the boat,I care about the use of the Republican credit card to fix his driveway and pay bills,Hillary will clobber him with that when she gets hit with her graft.
We don’t need another candidate who takes the biggest issue you have off the table.
Romney lost because Obamacare, the biggest issue of the campaign was made moot because Romney authored it

OK, here’s the question .... how many of our GOP candidates do not similarly have this “speedboat” issue that can’t be dug up?

I do know for instance that Mike Huckabee has a $3 Million home in Florida ( not Arkansas ).

That boat probably cost $80,000 in Florida. I have been to Florida several times and that is not much bigger than a rowboat compared to what I have seen tied up in front of multi million dollar houses, and in marinas.

What gets me is NY Times makes a BIG deal out of a small boat that Rubio has while horse face has a $7,000,000 YACHT
