We cannot for some reason give up Costco which posts no guns. WE are weak what can I say. Mr GG2 leaves his Weapon in the car.
The GA gun law explicitly says churches can opt out of CC. If they don’t opt out then you can carry in church.
“He`s the new Rosa Parks.
Theyll just have to get used to it.”
You are exactly correct. Open carry in an airport is pure, strong, symbolic, protected political speech. It is almost never done for a reason other than to make a political point, as noted in the article.
It is a combination of exercise of the first and second amendment, and should be doubly protected.
I suspect that many who rail against it do so because they know that they do not have the intestinal fortitude to do it themselves.
It is, however, very effective. As Texans could only legally open carry long guns, they did so, creating the largest social movement in Texas since civil rights. Over 18 months and 2,500 long gun open carry marches later, they won an important legislative victory.
Governor Abbott is about to sign their first open carry restoration statute in 160 years. It will not be their last.
The GA law does specifically state that you can carry in church but that individual churches can opt out. We usually honor the signs on business’s that say no guns. We just don’t go in there. Costco is the only place we just have not been willing to give up. :-)
LOL! “Costco is the only place we just have not been willing to give up. :-)” It doesn’t hurt that much. We gave it up after learning how much the ceo is in the lyin’ king’s bag. No guns and an obie suck up. Too much for me. But, I get it.
WE just cannot give up the $3 lunch where you get two huge polish hotdogs and drinks for $3. LOL!
That sign has the same status in GA.
Why? What they don’t know won’t hurt them.
“25. Never try on another man’s hat”
And never, EVER flick its’ brim or pull it down over his ears!!! ;)
Agree.
The Muslim version is the same expect you replace the word horse with the word goat.
